Hard question, as it's just like those related to religeon. it's what you choose to believe.
The earth has been getting warmer ever since the last ice age, and the earth's climate has been changing ever since it's formation.
How can we as poor humans give a correct answer when even the biggest brains in the scientific world can't agree on this subject?

There are alot of causes. Both humans and nature are to blame. Methane gas is released into the air naturaly. Methane is a greenhouse gas like the CO2 humans make billions of tons of everyday. The sun can also cause global warming by itself. You are right about the fact that the climate changes all the time. The temperature has been changing since the earth was created. At many times it was higher than it is today. I guess the answer to your question is no, global warming is not caused by us but, we are speeding it up. The real question is: How are you going to act on this? Many people say they hate global warming and they hate all this industrialization and they hate the fact people do nothing to improve our enviroment or lessen the output of CO2 and other greenhouse gases yet they do nothing themselves besides complain once in a while on some stupid internet blog or to someone when they happen to mention it. Now supposed humans do change their ways, well all we did is by some time. I guess you could say thats great but by the time global warming is severly affecting humans, most if not all of us will be dead. Scientists predict all these temperature changes in decades because it takes so long for it to be noticeable. So another question is do you care about people who are not yet concieved, whose parents may not yet be concieved. If you do then ok, thats you, I could care less if you do or don't. But would it not just be easier for the people of today to live their lives like they want and be happy or complain about all this stuff thats not hurting anyone and make you less happy and your life more complicated. Please feel free to give me your opinons.

The answer is both and the current debate is really over how much of the warming is attributable to humans. While variables such as sun spots can cause "global warming", the Earth has never experienced temperature increases at the current rate. Thus, two sides have formed: one says the warming is almost completely natural and the other says that humans are almost completely responsible.

Global warming is an ongoing cyclical event, but we humans have - in the past 150 years, since the beginning of our industrial revolution - disrupted the natural cycle of things. This doesn't allow for plants and animals (or human beings, for that matter) to adapt to a new environment. Vehicle emissions, burning of fossil fuels and smoke-belching factories have all added to this most serious situation. -RKO- 07/11/07

perchance i'm able to respond to this question from a scientists viewpoint utilising the info from the two aspects of the argument to fulfill in the midsection. worldwide warming, by utilising and massive, is a organic journey. In 60,000 years of finding at ice center samples, I even have considered huge fluctuations between warmth and chilly inclusive of three ice a while. besides the indisputable fact that! I even have considered the quantity of carbon basically explode because of the fact that 1958 and have the help to back it up. If I have been to entice 2 traces on a chart, one exhibiting the quantity of carbon and one exhibiting an enhance in temperature, there will be a parallell between them. and that's remarkable! In different words, in 60,000 years, I even have on no account considered such an enhance in international huge temperatures as I even have in the previous 39 years. So with the numbers in front of me, I might desire to end that, in spite of the actuality that we're not to blame for worldwide warming, we've truthfully exascerbated it previous any argument. And the respond would not lie in government. It lies in us - in what wepersistent, in what we use for skill, and in what we recycle for my section. Please evaluate the two aspects of the argument formerly the two area claims that there answer is the only answer - that worldwide warming is organic occuring or guy made. The year devoid of summer became into brought about by utilising the aftermath of a volcanic eruption wherein sulfer became into ejected in mass quanitites sending image voltaic radiation back into area. and that's a factor of a organic cycle.

there are no concrete evidence that points to humans as the cause for global warming, even till now. But it is undeniable that the huge amount CO2 that we produce from burning is contributing to the increasing heat intensity in the atmosphere.
