This is only temporary because your puppy is so young his bladder can't hold his urine for a whole night yet. If you can put up with it, he should be able to stay dry through the night in a few weeks. If you can't put up with it, a puppy may not be the best choice of pet for you.

The puppy is only 7 weeks old. My 10 week old still wakes up 3 times a night and even thought I am sleepy you still have to do it. Puppies are growing and right now they have small bladders. Puppies should go no more then 4 hours without peeing.
This is something you are going to have to deal with until your puppy is probably 6 months old.
I also wanted to tell you that it isnt a good idea either to let the puppy go in his crate. That is the dogs space. Dog's generally do not go poo poo or pee pee where they sleep. If you let him do this you are opening yourself up for a lot of extra training because he will think he can do it in the house whenever you want.
Sorry. This is something that you should of thought of before you got a puppy.

He's a baby. You can;t expect him to sleep through the night. It's like having a new human baby. You're going to have to get up in the night sleepy or not.
I have an almost 6 month old pup. He's only been going through the night a few weeks without having to go to pee.
What should you do... maybe get someone else let him out for his last pee before bed while you go to bed earlier. It's going to be a few months yet before you are going to sleep uninterrupted.

A puppy can only hold it for so long. Here's the equation: age (in months) + 2 = x hours. So, in your case, your pup can only hold it for about 4 hours. You're going to have to get up in the middle of the night till he's older. I would suggest taking him out before you go to bed and not giving any water/food after you do so. If you can't handle this responsiblity, then you shouldn't have gotten a puppy in the first place.

Give him back to his breeder. You aren't ready to have a puppy. What were you thinking??
I have gotten 12 puppies over my life (so far) and every time, I would move to the living room so my family could sleep peacefully. That was part of the deal. I kept them next to me in a playpen and would sleep when they slept. When they woke up, I took them out. It would take months before they were able to sleep all night in a crate without having to go out. If you aren't interested in investing that amount of time, you never should have gotten a puppy, but instead an older dog that was already house trained.
(And 7 weeks is too early to be taken from his mother.)
Geez.

It's only been 3 days...besides what did you expect with a puppy? His bladder is very small. Try taking up his water about 2 hours before going to bed and take him out right before putting him up. I don't recommend wee pads...they'll just confuse the pup. You'll just have to deal with getting up during the night to take him out. That's just part of owning a puppy. He'll eventually be able to sleep through the night, just give him time.

For a while u will have to otherwise u will be cleaning up his accidents in the AM. but as long as u take his water away from him a few hours before bed and make sure potty time is the last thing before bed the midnight potty breaks should stop with in a month or so.

Listen
He's less than 2 months old, the MOST that he can hold his bladder is three hours. Welcome to puppyhood - it's just like having a baby. If you didn't want to get up with him, then you shouldn't have gotten a puppy.
Get up, take him outside, praise him, and know that you are potty training him which willl make your life MUCH easier 2 months from now. Don't expect a full night's sleep until he is 6-7 months old. That's FOUR months away from now.

Just let him walk around in.
Buy puppy pads, put newspaper or teach him to go in a litterbox by putting him on it everytime you see he needs to go.
Another solution is to take away his water source at night so he doesn't pee.
If you don't mind cleaning up in the morning you don't have to do the things listed above.
P.S : If you buy your dog a nice comfortable bed he will probablly sleep trough the whole night.
Make sure the bed is roomy, comfortable and also make sure that the dog can fully grow with it and still have room to turn around.
