Jesus is the only reason people can go to heaven. All other religions are about what you can do to earn your way into heaven. Can we really earn our way into heaven?

Works are dead without proper faith. Proper faith spring forth works leading to edification of the body of Christ. We cannot bargain our way into God's kingdom. He has everything outlined for us in His Word to get to Heavan, and the Word becomes transparent only with the light of the Holy Spirit illuminating the truth of Jesus Christ. We must surrender and repent to Jesus if we are to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. And the price He paid on the cross allowed us in this dispensation to receive this gift for FREE. What mercy! What unconditional love! I bless Your Name forever Lord! Hallelujah Jesus!

I agree with you. Without Jesus there is no hope. No you can't earn your way into heaven. Eternal life is a free gift. Romans 6:23 for the wages of sin in death BUT the GIFT of God is eternal life. Heaven with God is a free gift that was bought by the blood of Jesus. Keep preachin bro and God bless you.

Ummm... Accepting Jesus would be a way to 'earn' your way into Heaven. So before you go bashing 'all other religions' (many of which don't even mention heaven), why don't you take a look at what you are saying?...
Christianity is no better than any other religion...

Did you know there is no "J" in the Hebrew alphabet? Therefore the true savior could no way be Jesus. Also Christ is a Greek term and means "Anointed". Why do you think that his name and title were changed? Do you think someone is trying to fool you?

No, sir without the truth you have nothing.

Jer 16:19 ¶ Surely our fathers have inherited LIES, vanity, and [things] wherein [there is] no profit.

Oh, and the way to enter into the Kingdom of Yahweh.....

Here's the ticket.....

Revelation 22:14 Blessed are those who keep His Laws, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Which Scriptures do you read from?

Jam 2:20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

From the Christian view point, no we do not earn our way to heaven. That price was paid when Jesus died on the cross.
Becoming a christian is so easy, yet so difficult for so many.
People who do not believe in Jesus can understand the peace one can have, even through trails.
So yes, I understand for those with Jesus, there is no hope for them to grasp onto,
They proclaim they believe in 'fate' how sad for fate equates to fatalistic.

Yes Jesus is the way. His examples and teachings opens our awareness which is narrow yet straight. Once our consciousness and awareness are open. Self realization happens and we realize that heaven is already here made physical as well as non-physical.when our souls leave our body we still are in heaven. In the Absolute we remember everything. Love is all there is. There is no separation, We are All One. Only in the physical form we forget that we are connected already with God. That is why we live in a world of duality, To taste sweetness we must taste bitterness. And our free will allows to re-connect anytime. And also through Jesus examples can we also connect back with God. Love is all there is. Heaven is already here. "What you do to others you also do unto yourself." We Are All One. And never condemn yourself, you are your own rule maker. That is why if you cannot believe in Jesus, believe in yourself.

Then where did everyone go before Jesus?
The simple fact is that the only true christian Died on the cross everyone else is just going theru the motions and No one has the right to judge anyone because its gods job. YOu have no idea who is going to "heaven" and who isnt and neither does anyone else.

Jesus Christ is our only HOPE of salvation. There is no other way. any religion that doesnt have the teachings of Jesus is false religion according to God.
But, God says faith withour works is dead , counts as nothing. True faith leads to obedience, and if we dont obey GOd, we dont really have faith and we wont go to GOd. HE knows the heart. amen Always love your questions and comments.

You are the one who does not understand! Your path is not the only valid path. Every path is valid, and none is any better than any other. Each person must find his or her own truth, by seeking within. Truth is NOT a one size fits all proposition. God never intended everyone to believe the same thing...God has always wanted only that we each be who and what we truly are as individuals. Your truth is right for you, but you cannot say what is right for anyone other than yourself. You do not have that right! No one has that right! *sm*

I understand this, but as Christians we can't push our beliefs in the faces of others who don't share our views. And as your sister in Christ I want to let you know that you're somewhat doing this by posting this question. Therefore, don't be surprised if you get some heated responses. One of my favorite quotes is from Saint Francis of Assisi, which says, "Go out into the world as preach the gospel, and when necessary use words." Try applying this principle to your life and see what happens. I truly believe you'll receive better responses. If not, then just do as Christ has told us to do and "turn the other cheek." God Bless.

"Then we will do without hope! We may yet be avenged."(Aragorn, after Moria)

You are presuming, you see, that your view of Jesus and the world is the correct one. An "If" inserted somewhere in your proposition might have made it less dogmatic.

And if Jesus isn't the answer?
Then Christians, of all people, are the most to be pitied. Despite their hope. (According to St Paul.)
