God did His work. He is not here to hold our hand and do everything for us. That is why we have free agency. I hope this link answers your question.

Its not that God did not want to help the people of 9/11. It was that this country is turning away from him and he is getting tired of his people acting the way they are acting. They were a lot that did not get the chance to cry out such as the ones where the plane struck the building(except maybe a few that were standing at the window and saw the plane right before it struck). They had no second chance. But, if those that had the chance called upon his name and was sincere in their heart, then they are in Paradise this day. And just take a look at what is going on today, same sex marriage, abortions, killings, its all on the rise and its not getting any better. .Canada is already talking about requiring chip implants on anyone wishing to cross the Canadian border. By may of 2008 even Americans may be required to have this done whether they want to cross the border or not. That is like when Katrina hit Lousianna I truly believe that that was a message from our Father in Heaven to get our acts together and look to him. One thing I get tired of hearing is the argument that people make that they cannot believe in a God that lets all these terrible things go on. I say don't blame God, blame Adam and Eve and Lucifer himself(the father of all lies). For before Adam and Eve bit of the fruit they were in paradise.

Well, I think 87GN has a good point. Many people die everyday, through the result of crime or natural causes, and are not saved from their deaths. Yet they are just as important.
Sometimes the answer we want to a prayer, is not always the answer that God believes is best for us to receive.
But I also believe that man is given free agency; a liberty given by God to man to make his own choice. And a factor necessary so that we might learn to make the right choices without God physically looking over our shoulders.
And that sometimes God allows man to make his choice, even though it will harm others, because it is his liberty. And that other times, God stops man from using his liberty for harm (via death or if the man listens to the spirit, through conscience and repentance).
Exactly why God decides which course is best, I cannot fathom. I could theorize that God allowed those people to die, so that he might bring judgment against those who caused harm...
But I am only man (or woman), whose wisdom is finite and ever-changing. He is God, infinite and unchanging. There is no possible way that I could comprehend an infinite and unchanging wisdom while in this mortal life. So I don't try. I only do what I am commanded, and hope that I do these things well so that I can be with God when my course is through here.
And even if He did not "save" those who were killed in the towers; they are saved in a different way now.

This goes right along with something Jesus said. See if you can follow it and tell me. E-mail me or something.
Luke 13
1 Now there were some present at that time who told Jesus about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices.
2 Jesus answered, "Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans because they suffered this way?
3 I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.
4 Or those eighteen who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them—do you think they were more guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem?
5 I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish."
The same thing applies then as it does now.

Why are the lives of the victims of 9/11 any more important than people that die each day? Are you saying because God doesn't intervene for every high profile death, that somehow proves His non-existence?

because God doesn't help, probably doesn't exist, but people pray for nothing instead of doing! Don't pray for something just do it!
