I don't think he'd approve. Its just another case of mixing the sacred with the secular. Just more merchants in the temple, we all know how he felt about that. :D

Jesus preached the Sermon on the Mount, He fed the multitudes and there were other cases of a large crowd being taught by Him. There were many other cases where He dealt with the person one on one, even though there may have been other witnesses to the occurrence. There was the woman at the well, the Disciples that were called mostly one by one, the gentile woman who begged for even the crumbs from the table of the King and the rich man that He singled out. In each case, He spoke the Truth in love. He showed Grace, but did not hesitate to tell the truth even when it cost Him a rich follower. By the reasoning of many of today's churches, they would soften the blow to the rich man, lest they lose his potential contribution, and rationalize that he can learn when he is ready. The King of Kings was like a magnet to those with a sick heart that wanted a true change and unmerited pardon, but He set the hypocrite's teeth on edge. Believers can only bear witness of the truth by the power of their testimony, but the Holy Spirit brings conviction. The personal encounter with Jesus is what made His followers such powerful witnesses and spread the Gospel.

I see no problem with the media and politics, as long as it is not sensationalized, and is the pure truth. This could be effective. Sometimes when someone important does something (like a doctors check up for something), then there is a surge in others following. Language? Probably modern day, and in the dialect of wherever the presentation is being made.

Jesus would let his fingers do the talking, since there is so many ill people today. And if that didn't work his feet would do the walking since there is so many towns. Perhaps he would put a add in the paper, go on line, and do TV shows as leverage to spread the Gospel...... perhaps he would go to Conn, Mystic sea port and find some fisher of men:)

It seems that Jesus stayed out of politics. He never advocated state run religons. The Media? maybe. He did use the media of the day, like going and teaching at the temple. It seemed he mostly kept a low profile and mingled with the lower class on the street. I doubt he would use modern media though. It's too corrupt.
