If you were convicted of a felony in the US, paid part of the restitution the court ordered you to pay, were put in probation and then you left the country, would you still be allowed back in? Is there any way you can clear this up? Can they catch you right when you arrive at the airport? Keep in mind you're not an american citizen or a legal alien.

A felony conviction requires a visa to travel. If you attempted to gain entry illegally, you would most likely be detained on account of the outstanding matters you have to clear up. Did you complete probation?

You may have trouble leaving the country. Most counties will not allow convicted felons to enter. Then again, if you are not a citizen or a legal alien, then you are an illegal alien. There are no other categories. Legal tourists are legal aliens. As an illegal, you should not be allowed in even if you were not a felon.
