Stop looking at what you see in the world. Look to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of Faith.
What kind of Bible do you have? Do you know what it says?
You remind me of someone who does not read the Bible.
Here, listen to things on the internet by some pretty good pastors. If you don't surround yourself by the word of God, how can your faith grow?

You need to go down on your knees or stand and be honest with God. He already knows how you feel. Let him know that you want to still believe that he exists, but you are having a hard time. He will help you in this situation. Start to try and read a little bit of the Bible every day - and pray a bit every day, whether you feel God or not. Soon the spirit of fear will go away. Say that scripture often, "For God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of love, and of power and of a sound mind." Try and find a church where you can get grounded in the word of God and build your spiritual life. All the best...I have prayed for you already.

You are an agnostic, you don't know, there's nothing to be ashamed of in that. After all you didn't try to not believe in God, you just questioned things and got a glimpse that maybe he is invented by man rather than the other way round.
The same goes for the devil, you are conjuring that up from your fear.
Don't be afraid, if you have good in your heart God will see it, and if there's no God then you'll see it anyway, neither way can you lose.
Unless you listen to mean spirited, judgemental hypocrites.

First why do you think you lost your faith maybe you just got sidetracked. Others can have a negative influence on you and if you really want to get back in touch with your faith open up the good book, you'll see you are not lost. Try to keep your conversations from those who have negative vibes away from your religion. Another good thing is trying talking to your local minister he will gladly take the time. Search your heart.

"For God has not given us a spirit of fear but of POWER, LOVE and a SOUND MIND." Perfect love casts out fear.
You are listening to the wrong voices. God has given us power over fear. It is our faith in His word that helps us believe and accept that deliverence from Him.
If you want stronger faith you must spend time "studying" the Bible, praying a lot and getting in touch with other Christians in your local area who can minister to you and strengthen you.
On the other hand - you could be a troll. There are a good number of them in here, and I have never before seen anyone profess to be an ex-Atheist so it sounds suspicious.
If you are sincerely struggling but want to follow the Lord email me. I have walked with Him over 33 years. I am sure I can help you in some way.

If you believe in the devil, then you certainly believe in God, although that is not apparent on the conscious level.
Perhaps that is nothing to worry about, as God often tests people in this way.
He removes devotion and good feelings and thoughts about Himself, but His grace and love still burn deep within the soul - in fact, if you are concerned, that is definitely a good sign, as the true lukewarm person simply has ceased to care and is content with drifting - it is the fighter, like yourself, who is really OK.
We have to realize that true union with God is doing His will, no matter how we feel - good feelings are the *fruit* of the struggle and not the invariable sign that we are in God's favour - God does or allows this to exercise in us our willingness to do the right thing even if it is difficult and repugnant, for if we were not exercised in this way, then we would do what was right only because we felt like it, which is no virtue at all, because even evil people do good if they see that it will be pleasurable for them to do so - true goodness is proven when you do the right thing when it seems that there is no reward in it for you, but that you do it simply because God commands it and it is the right thing to do.

Practice the age-old principles which have been in the church for centuries: Study the Scriptures and other worthwhile devotional literature, pray, worship regularly, become part of a Bible study group led by a wise, loving Christian, become involved in some type of service activity through your church which is of benefit to the church or society generally, avoid places of particular temptation for you (I don't know what that might be - you do), and never ever forget that God loves you with an unconditional love. You cannot out-sin God's love. "FEAR NOT for I am with you. I have called you by name. You are mine." - God

"Greater is He that is in you, than He that is in the world". If you are a born again believer, Satan will try to convince you , you don't need Jesus- and if you are not a born again believer, Satan will do everything to keep you from coming to Him. Have you at one time in your life admitted you were a sinner? Have you asked Jesus to be your Lord and Savior- then you are saved- do not let Satan convince you otherwise. If you are already a born again believer, you have not lost your salvation- Our Father in heaven is waiting with open arms to receive you back into the fold- do not fear that you have lost God- if you know Him as Savior- you can never lose Him.

There is nothing to be afraid of. I would read one verse out of the Bible. And start slow and be steady. Soon this fear will go away. I have a story I could share with you but, I chose not to in my answer. It would take too much time. But, I have felt that same fear you do. It is the devil messing with you and wants you to feel fearful because he doesn't want you to leave him. Email me if you need to talk or need anything eles. I will do my best to help and be your friend.

The devil does try hard to get us to lose our faith in God. The Bible tells us to safeguard our hearts and faith against attacks. Even the strongest in the faith sometimes have doubts. Don't worry. If you pray to God, you will recieve strength from him, for without it, we are just sitting ducks.
