Don't agree sorry. They are married to the lord they have taken an oath not to marry. It is the choice they made when becoming a Priest.

Priests are human beings with earthly and sexual desires. Most priests will desire someone. Like all humans this is how they were designed.
They should have the right to marry and have children. They shouldn't have to suffer to prove their devotion to God, just as a person should not have to walk barefoot in the snow to show how much they suffered for God. Maybe we'd see fewer of the priest abuse cases if the Vatican would acknowledge that priests are humans too.
Some of the Vatican's laws and rules are archaic (i.e like Latin mass - Latin is an extinct language). The Vatican needs to get real and step into the 21st century if they want to hold on to their congregation.

I am a Roman Catholic and do not beleive that Priest's should marry. That is a very bad idea. The priest has a family- his church community.

I see nothing in the BIBLE about whether a "priest" can marry or not. In fact, I do not see anything that defines a priest in the Churches of Christ of the First Century. Do you??

I am a priest.. and I am married.. not all religions think that priests should not marry.

I'm not to enthousiastic about priests or marriage but I think it's weird that priests are allowed to conduct marriages but are not allowed to be married themselves.

NO I do not think Catholic priests should marry.

Many cannot keep their vow of celibacy, hence all this gross pedophilia, and Jesus himself said that celibacy should be a personal choice. No church has the right to tell someone not to have sex. And, Paul said that a religious leader SHOULD be married and blameless (without sexual sin).

WHAAT? priests can marry? no one ever told me that. aren't they supposed to practise celibacy? well i'm not a christian so i guess it's ok if i didn't know that.
