It used to be that when it came to religion I stood firm in my faith and tried to live by what I believed. But over the last two months I've lost all faith. I have a hard time picking up my scriptures and even praying...what should I do??

Use this precious opportunity to explore and to read some books by lots of different authors. Frequently, our faith prevents us from reading a book with a different perspective.
Don't fear new ideas; fear only ignorance and closed-mindedness. THOSE are things you can change. :^)

Your concern tells me that you'll be okay. Stop trying so hard. Take the break that god is giving you. Go on a vacation, relax, your faith is there. Faith is a state of mind and not of physical and human acts, Prayers are for us, God already knows what we need well before we ask him. The scriptures are wonderful, but remember they were written by men. Your guide should be your heart. Follow that right back to your faith.

Keep going down the path toward atheism.
I was the path several years ago and after studying all I could, I emerged from the dark woods of christianity into the light of atheism.
