I would much rather be alone instead of being stuck in an unhappy relationship.

Depends on the ages of the people involved. Because after a certain amount of time, things are never going to be the way they were when the two lovebirds got together. I think it hurts much more to feel alone when you're in a relationship (which is very possible!) but I think thta feeling can be overcome with a lot of hard work and determination.

depends on what is wrong / how significant it is. no one will ever be perfect. but usually your gut instinct is the one you should listen too. if you are really considering seperating ... it's probably the right thing to do. don't be pressured on society and being single. better to be alone and enjoy your life and who you spend your time with than in a poor relationship. look at dating like you are a hiring manager. you do not want to make a bad decision as it will cost time / energy. if you rule out a candidate for whatever reason ... no need to worry. better you found out early than before you hired/married them. good luck and choose carefully

I say being in the relationship and having no balls to go to my partner about fixing what has changed in the relationship. Its better to be single if you can't even talk to the person you are in the relationship with. I really hate when people get in situations like that, they always want a relationship but they can't even talk things out with their partner. Such a shame.

I just went through this myself. Being alone is WAY better than being in a sucky relationship.

Being in a relationship where things aren't the same feels like torture, I'd rather be alone with a clear head..

...I just say it's simply less conflicting being single and footloose and fancy free, then it is to feel trapped and be married and lonely and miserable with the wrong person accordingly. Surely there are people that beat the odds on this stuff occasionally....but not many! Are we sorta kinda somewhat in agreement possibly?

ok we've all been there, so you learn to cut and run earlier. Its really true, we as single people get the drift faster and faster. Its true, you need to learn your tolerances so you can cut thru the bull faster, or keep it friends longer to check out potential s h i t and then hey no problem it can be friendly.Be less serious and more of just a good friend with potential.
