Yes they exist, but they are deadly.
They are condemned by the Bible, but there is a rational reason for that.
There is a specific *science of pattern,* as all things in existence have their particular meaning value and effect on other things is subtle and not so subtle ways.
Any fact in existence is *not a mere fact,* but has a sign or symbol value that points to something other and beyond itself - the vast bulk of this cannot be seen by the human mind, but God certainly knows it.
What the occult does is take snippets and fragments of this meaning of pattern (such as reading tea leaves, tarot cards, the arrangements of stars in astrology, etc), and discerns things from this with greater or lesser degrees of success.
Now the precise problem with these is that they are fragments or snippets, isolated from a whole, and not integrated into a systematization that we would call *a science,* which in this case would be the science of pattern - these snippets are snippets of exceedingly deep truth that can bring tremendeous intellectual pleasure (for the intellectual pleasure given by the understanding of a truth is proportional to the depth of that truth), but without the anchor of integration into the context of a whole, such a thing tends to unbalance the mind and distort the judgment - what we put into our minds has a definite effect on it.
Now the science of pattern is a transcendental science (above and beyond the conventional sciences we know such as physics, chemistry, and biology), which the human mind in its present state is unable to comprehend because of its limitations - but the pure spirits (both good and bad), with their vastly superior intellects, have a grasp of this - the good angels use this discretely for our benefit, but the evil angels or the fallen angels play those who engage in it like a violin, since its indulgence is *always* predicated on low motives for the gain of wealth, power, pleasure, or control over others, so with such sin, God abandons the practitioners of this to its consequences.
Such a thing, although it may procure advantages in the short term, always destroys the intellect and will of the victim in time, bringing about his or her eventual personal dissolution, and possible eternal damnation.

To many christians, other religious practices could be seen as occult or as malovent magic.
Magic however is not solely good or evil, it is neutral. It is the energy of change, spiritual change.
In magic you can experience multiple paths, left and right hand paths primarily. Left hand is your satanists, setians and the ilk. Their goal is self-exalting, establishing their will in their lives.
Right hand seeks a path harmonious to the Gods and union with the Divine.
Occultism refers primarily to the studies of 18th and 19th century philosophers whom based their studies off of the amalgamtion of eastern mysticisms, alchemy and neo-platonism as well as the theorems provided by Agrippa in the 1500's.
Magic is dangerous and can harm you, though many people practice it in the light of love and in harmony with nature.
Do not do anything which would harm another spirit or being. Do not coerce or decieve or manipulate.
Christians also sometimes confuse the practices of mysticism (which are completely opposite of occultism) with magic. Mysticism and magic are two very different fields. i suggest you research what the bible condemns, what magic truly is and what other religions practice. do not lose focus of the context in which these things take place.

That's a bit of a sweeping generalisation isn't it? can you be a bit more specific about what you actually mean by "Black Magic and the occult". Also, what do you mean by "believe"? believe it exists or believe in it?

I do not believe in it...
I believe there are people that pretend to be part of the occult or can do "black magic"...but, I think they are just very good magicians, etc...I don't believe in psychics either...I think they are just good listeners and quite clever and giving information that sounds relevant.

Hmm... so Magick and the Occult come from satan?
Tell that to so many christian ministers who preach against it, but practice it.
Faith is good, but don't be narrowminded.
Definitely a believer in Magick and the occult.

The term "black magic" exists for a reason. If you believe in God, then you equally must believe in Satan, as well as the idea of evil. Satan has powers just as God does.
So yes. I believe in the existance of "Black Magic".
