the interview went well, i had 1 interview with the manager, and she told me to come back for a 2nd interview with the GM, the GM told me she wanted a 2nd interview because I wouldn't really open up.. both interview's went fairly well... the reason i didnt open up is because they didn't ask me questions... the GM mainly just told me about how things work and the main focus is pleasing the customer's... he asked me when I could start.. what pay I wanted... what hour's i wanted to work.. if I was going too school.. everything seemed to be good, he told me to call him in 2days if he didnt hear from me because i was one of 3 people they were interviewing, and they are hiring 2, he said he couldnt find a fault in me, so i asked do i need to quit looking for a job, he said no.. keep looking you may find something better... but he also pointed out that wasnt his way of shutting me down, he was looking for my bes interest.. what do you think? is the job mine... its for a front-desk job

It's yours if you want it. But don't wait more than 2 days, call back the morning of the 2nd day. Let them know you want it. Opening up is just engaging in conversation, that's alot of the job working the front desk at a hotel. You need to greet the people and make them feel at home. Don't wait for them to ask a question, offer help, suggestions, whatever. You should never quit looking, even after you get the job. Unless that's your life's goal, to work at hotel front desk.

I hope you get the job, if that is what you want.
I don't know about your area, but where I live, front desk jobs are a dime a dozen. The position does not pay very well and you have to put up with a lot of grief from whining customers.
It is an easy job if you can refrain from slapping someone, and, depending on your shift, it is a great job to have while you are in school. I worked 3-11 and after we sold out or the peak hours were over, I got a lot of homework done.

As for your question re. "is the job mine", after hearing what you heard, I would continue to look for work. You may still get the job, but a GM who tells you he is "looking out for your best interest" is like a used car salesman telling you that a little old lady only drove her car to church on Sundays.

honestly no longer! in case you ought to, take a extreme-high quality pants/denims and alter in a washing room. donning denims to an interview says you have no longer have been given any situation-loose experience, and it will possibly get you disqualified no matter how your different skills makes you shine.

I don't think he want's to accept you because he said that you might find another job and if he's saying that he means that he wants you to get another job.
