As a child I had a recurring dream (at least five times) in which I was able to fly just by willing myself to lift off the ground and soar at a modest altitude above the countryside. It was so exhilarating and so real that I would try to do it while awake by concentrating hard on lifting off with a running start. I lived in the country so it was a country scene below me but I recognized classmates below but did not attempt conversation. I always landed safely just by willing to come down and never fell or was I afraid of falling. I did not flap my arms so I wasn't imitating birds.

I can still remember the dreams and have often wished they would repeat. Sweet dreams, good health, peace and love!

I'm 43 and I still remember a dream I started having when I was probably about 5. I'm in bed and my toy box is under the window with the lid open. Instead of curtains I have like a woven bambooish blind, it's blowing in the wind. I get out of bed and walk over to look in the toy box and just as I'm looking in the lid slams shut. That's when I wake up. I have no idea what this dream means.

I've had one dream for as long as I can remember.
My mother and I are in the upstairs of her house. There is a gorilla chasing us and we go into the bathroom (the only door in the house with a lock) we just sit on the floor while he bangs on the door. This is when I force myself to wake up.
