No the interest is accrued, so basically whatever balance you still have left on your card from the original transfers and purchases before the grace period ended you will have to pay interest and of course on any purchase made after the 6 months is up. be prepared the first bill you get after the period ends will be a killer.

you have made this so difficult! the uncomplicated answer is that it relies upon on the settlement of your card provider. often, in case you place some thing on a discounted (or no) interest era, that as quickly as you're making purchases and then funds, nearly all of the charge is going in direction of the hot purchases, with purely a small quantity going in direction of the interest-loose area of it (on the economic company I labored at it became 3%. in case you owe not something exterior the interest-loose debt on the cardboard, then any charge you're making will bypass totally in direction of the interest-loose. One might wish that the assumption is to repay the interest loose ingredient before you pay interest, through fact then in many situations it is going to totally backdate interest. wish this allows.

Knowing credit card contracts, you will be paying interest on EVERYTHING. Advice to all Americans.. DO NOT BUY anything you cannot pay for with cash. Pay your credit cards on time and in full or cut them up. We are addicted to useless stuff we cannot afford.
