Depends what color you dyed it.. if you went blonde I would be careful about going into a pool. wet your hair before you go in with conditioner and then make sure you rinse your hair when you get out.

Washing it as far as I know you dont have to wait!

If you think you're hair is thinning, it could be that your hair is crying for help. Dyeing it too many times, w/out letting your hair a chance to 'breath' could be a symptom it is getting too fragile. For those the says it's normal, they TOO could be experiencing hair loss they just don't know it because they don't know the difference between healthy hair and hair loss. The best one to answer your question is hair expert who knows their product. Call the 1-800# in the box and ask for recommendations how long should you wait before you can re-dye since you're using permanent hair dye. Not someone from YA HAIR. There are many people here who don't really know what they're saying, since many of them are 13-30 who are experiencing the most hair problems. Many of them have the same hair problems as women between 50-85 but it took them years to get there. They also say you normally lose 100-200 hair a day, but I don't. I lose about 7-8 every time I brush it, so that's about 100 per week, give or take.

No more than 24 hours. However, before entering the water, make sure to put some kind of conditioner on your hair. This will prevent chlorine from opening up your hair cuticle, which will make some of the hair color leave your hair. If your hair is blonde, the same thing applies. If you don't protect your blonde hair before entering the pool, it could turn alittle green.

Hope this helps.

wait 48 hrs. before you wash it because the hair cuticle is still open and can dilute the color and as far as the pool if you so desire the water PUT a cap on so that the pool water will not damage your new color !!

you should at least wait 1 day. try not to go to the pool too much though it will fade your color.
