1) So that we learn to recognize lies when we see them.
2) So that we recognize liars when we read their writings.
3) So that we understand the application of Galatians 1:6-8, that any angel that preaches a Gospel different from the Gospel that Paul preached is not to be feared.
("Gabriel" is credited with giving the Qur'an to Muhammad, much like "Moroni" gave Joseph Smith the teachings of Mormonism.).

It's important to understand that it was written by people, not gods. As soon as you start to read it you realise the truth of this statement. God could never have written anything so ignorant and stupid as the Qur'an.

The Koran is a useless document which has caused more cruel hatred and murder of innocent people than any other piece of literature on Earth.

1. It makes great kindling on cold nights in the desert.
2. It's good for a good laugh when there's nothing else to read.
3. I have to agree that it would make a great substitute for toilet paper when nothing else is available.
