It doesn't matter how many you commit, as logn as you make the effort to not sin, and are sincerely sorry for the ones that slip through the cracks. Some religions say you need to go to confession and serve a pennance, but I'm sure if you believe that you can pray to a god , that he would listen to your apology without having to go through a middle man in a box.

Webster defines sin as: "an offense against religious or moral law"

Hi, a sin would be like a foul in a game, an offence to God, not following the 10 commands, like robbing, insulting, say blasfemys, killing or raping, that would be the worst, that is call a mortal sin, then are the venial sins that arent so offensive to God or to other people, or to you. God mercy is infinite, and you can ask for forgiveness to Him. Im catholic and im answering you from my point of view. As long as you repent from your sins, He will of course forgive you. Only God knows what will be your destiny, He will judge you. No matter how worst your sin is, He can forgive you.

If you have never accepted Jesus Christ into your heart and submitted to his will and his way instead of your own, you dont have to commit any sins. You have original sin from the fall of creation.

This is not to say that you will not sin, because rejecting God is a sin. Anything that is in disobedience to God is a sin.

We were created for his pleasure and Glory, not the other way around.

The Bible teaches what things are sin. But technically, just being born into this world is sufficient to condemn a person to hell.
But it also teaches that mankind is doomed to hell, unless we believe in Jesus as the Christ.

See verse 18 below, specifically:

Sin is rebellion or disobedience to God and His commands, and one is all you need to send you to Hell if you won't repent of it.

Jesus Christ died so you wouldn't have to suffer the penalty of sin. It is your rejection of Him that would be the worst sin ever. Hopefully you have never done that and it is even better if you are already saved.

Sin is any behavior and/or action that goes against the true and living God

By God's standards, one sin qualifies a person for the lake of fire;but fortunately God has provided salvation thru Christ.

A sin is a grievance against God and Godly behavior. It doesn't matter how many as long as you SINCERELY repent before you die.

Sin is disobedience to God.

It only takes one to be found guilty and thus be sentenced to Hell.

However it is not necessary to go there. Try the test below to see how to avoid it.
