When you are finished partying for the night, you should drink some Gatorade to start the recovery process. Then, the next morning, you should continue drinking Gatorade and water to replenish your fluids. This is very important because alcohol dehydrates the body ,which causes those awful headaches. And if at all possible, stay out of the sun! Because if you are dehydrated, sun will only make it worse and intensify your headache. It also helps if you do a "number 2" as soon as you wake up...twice if possible...LOL! And when your stomach feels better, get a good meal on it. That should do it!!! :)
If you use this method, by time your day begins, your condition should be at least 95% better. And that's without taking any meds!

Stop drinking so much. Just have 1 or 2 drinks at the MOST. Or don't drink at all. Have a glass of iced tea or a soda. (Do you have any idea how bad you smell when you sweat alcohol? You just REEK. And you can't smell it---only people around you can.)
If you start out thinking you'll only have 1 or 2 drinks and you always end up having more and getting a hangover in the morning (hangovers mean you had too much to drink the night before) then you have a drinking problem.
Besides Advil, drink Gatorade to re-hydrate you. Any flavor---drink several bottles. You WILL feel better.

alcohol dehydrates you so this is what i do i drink 2 full glasses of cold water before i go to bed another when i wake up to go pee in the middle of the night and another with 2 advil or ib prophin in the morning. If i do this i dont have a hangover. Or dont over drink, dont drink till your spinning, or drunk and always keep your self well hydrated before and after drinking alcohol.

You have some pretty good answers from all these people. It is true that alcohol does dehydrate you but because of the dehydration it causes your brain to swell, that's what causes the headache. Drinking water before you go to bed is the best but when your that drunk, I hope you remember. What are you drinking? I have a friend that can't mix beer and hard alcohol together, If he just drinks one or the other he'll be fine. As for stopping,[ unless people are telling you that your a jerk when your drunk]. you'll do it when you are ready. So until then be safe and try to remember your water.

This will sound sooo gross but seriously I do it everytime I am beyond wasted and I wake up feeling great
Make yourself throw up dont let the alcohol sit in your stomach
Then drink about 2 or 3 bottles of water
Don't listen to the idiots who say dont get drunk and it wont happen. they just dont know how to live. Have fun and be happy theres nothing wrong with drinking as long asn your not doing it everyday of your life

Try to drink some water between alcoholic beverages and drink some before bed. When you wake up, eat some eggs and toast and then take two motrin. That always works for me.

if you can tell the night before that the next day is going to be hell, i'd say make yourself throw up. i only do this when i feel like it's about to come up anyways.
i've heard taking advil before you go to bed is good, but i'm not sure, myself.
drink tons of water before bed, (over 32 ozs.) and then tons again when you wake up. that works good for my friends!

You usually have a hang over because you are dehydrated and you body is asking for fluids. You should drink Lot's of water and try to have some carbohydrates so it can soak up the alcohol left over.

Either eat stuff like bread while you drink or after you get home as it will help absrob a lot of the liquer and make sure to leave a few gatorades right by your bed before you go out...so that way you can down it as soon as you get back....gatorade is one of the best forms of rehydrating yourself

you get the headache because your body is dehydrated from all the alcohol. All ya gotta do is get plenty of non alcoholic fluids in you before you go to sleep. maybe eat a small meal and drink some water or kool aid-before you pass out :)
