Someone asked 'What do women find wrong with guys in wheelchairs?"

My answer was that women have an instinct which attracts them to the best provider/protector i.e. strong and virile men. And that was nothing compared to what others were saying about inability to perform. Now it says I can't even view the question. Whats up with that? Does it mean the asker banned me or some ****** moralist who hates to read honest truth randomly kicked me? I really want to know what others think so I don't get locked out of every question I answer honestly.

It is possible that at least one person who answered is confused on the subject of truth v. opinion. The truth I'm touting to have administered is based on observed behavior in the animal we call human beings. Human behavior can be scientifically tested through observation and experimentation. It's all part of something called the scientific method. Now, it is my opinion that the scientific method is a very useful tool for exposing fact from opinion. When I say something is the honest truth, what I am actually saying is that there is some amount of scientific evidence supporting my claim. Science is imperfect, but it is much more than simply my opinion. That is why science tends to hold up in a court of law, where my opinion generally would be less persuasive. The honest truth (or scientifically supported findings, or my opinion, which ever you like) is as I stated in my answer to the wheelchair guy's question.

Yes... I know what you are thinking, "Now who's being touchy?" lol! I am extra touchy when fools give opinions that are completely unsupportable by any stretch of the imagination. I could still report the guy... I think that was what he was advocating for pompous 'tards trying to pawn their opinions off on others as facts. The second guy down would have us all believe that scientists are out there annoying good natured overly-emotional and opinionated people with there silly data and evidence.

You can be reported for anything here.

There`s no way of knowing what caused the queston to be removed.

Don`t worry about it.

Extra touchy, I think. While what you say has a lot of theoretical substance that has been published in a lot of textbooks, it's not set in stone and I think you own that. Everything and everyone is individual with their own attractions. I do think, though, that people can jump too quickly to conclusions about things and people they don't understand and need to be more open-minded. Incidentally, I was instantly attracted to my man, a paraplegic since his teens, when we met. Although there are things we have to work around and do slightly differently than "normal" people, I have no worries about his ability to provide for me and our family. AND he performs wonderfully, thank you very much.

I think women are attracted to providers. Just because a woman likes a successfull man doesnt mean she is a gold digger. Physical attraction is a part of what people look for.
So we have to learn to accept who we are and do the best with what we have to work with. So to sum it up, I think it would be accurate to say that in most cases you are correct.

I think some people can't accept someone else's honest opinion....he could easily just not agree with you period. I knew a couple guys in wheelchairs who had no problem getting women because they did have good jobs, were strong and goodlooking too.

All you did was say the truth. People are too in to not offending minorities and being pc. The truth is, if you want to treat minorities like everyone else you need to be honest and not worry about offending them. For example, let's not offend black people, so let's call them African American. If you want to treat everyone fairly then treat everyone fairly. No one calls whites caucasians nor should they. What you said was completely fine.

The person who asked the question probably blocked you, but although I don't necessarily agree with your answer, there's nothing wrong with it. Whomever it was, obviously didn't like it. I wouldn't worry about any other consequences. It just applies to that user.

because of a hair trigger on "abuse" unfortunately some of the best answers go unpublished.

some of these squirrels can ask inane questions with impunity, but people attempting to use satire or humor in an answer get the dreaded VIOLATION EMAIL....

yahoo answers rolls merrily along..............

Perhaps they shouldn't have asked the question, if they cannot handle the answers.

But I didn't see what you posted, so I cannot say for certain if your answer was offensively worded or not.

But it sounds like he only wanted women's opinions.

Anyone who believes that every word from their mouth is the "honest truth" and not simply "my opinion" is quite likely to step over the line and offend people time and time again, while insisting that they are doing nothing wrong.

Much like you, it seems.
