What do you serve with your deep fried fish? Any ideas? I was thinking either a salad, or french fries?

fries and coleslaw sounds GREAT to me!!but to save some calories, make your own slaw with lite ranch dressing instead of mayo
just buy the bagged plain cole slaw in the produce section, and some ranch dressing yum!
or baked potatoes instead of fries

French fries, cole slaw, a garden salad, even hash browns - any of these would go just fine with your fish. Say, set an extra plate, won't you? I'll be right over - that sounds SO good! If you're into wines, an inexpensive Riesling would go good with that meal...

Too much fried foods.....Consider:

home made or store bought cole slaw
spinach with roasted garlic
roasted asparagus
corn on the cob

in southern states they serve grits with fried fish (its really good) also white rice with butter.
Fish and chips work too.
Fried potatoes of any kind
Hush puppies

pasta or sallad the oils form the fish will soak into the pasata flavoring it more fettacini alfrodo would be great. salad is if you want to eat healthy
