Yes, credit says a lot about a person. People who think before acting are more likely to get better grades in school,drive better, maintain their car better and have better credit. So insurance companies and employers prefer them. I think it is a nice perk of being a responsible adult.

Think about it, and you can answer your own question; two people have applied for a job babysitting your dog this weekend, and the ONLY difference between them is that one pays all her bills on time, the other is being sued for non-payment of her rent, utilities and credit cards. (You also know they both earn the same wage). Who you gonna trust?
