And further, that the belief that such experience is one's destiny, purpose, or an important source of knowledge/understanding and wisdom.

This may include a belief in the existence of realities beyond empirical perception, or a belief that a true human perception of the world transcends logical reasoning or intellectual comprehension........

We choose to give our lives to the biomechanics of life or create our own path. We are in this experience moment at a time and pass away any following moment. We all hold the key to our happiness. Non can help but to wonder what is all this we are in.

mystic has such an old magical sound to it , and it is nothing like that
