is there a good way to indicate sarcasm in an answer w/o having to literally spell it out?

i know this is not a "religion" question per se, but it is in this section i leave most of my sarcastic answers....
and it's not that i mind so much getting the thumbs down, but when i am misunderstood its really irritating

When it concerns religion I type "My atheist brain" as source, but only when think myself it can be misunderstood. But normally I try to mold my answer in such a way that it's hard to misunderstand my sarcasm. But some religious people want to misunderstand everything, and they'll deliberately misinterpret and rape your words so much that what you said is in their own advantage.

I was not even being ironic, but I even got the best answer because the questioner deliberately twisted my words. I really felt some kind of raped and abused. But that's how religions work, their lies and populism make it easy to understand for the mentally less equipped.

Some people are humorously-impaired. Nothing you can do will ever change the fact that they wouldn't recognize sarcasm if it bit 'em in the keister.

Just appreciate the people who do understand what you mean and chalk the responses from the rest off to their 'disability.'

Even if you literally spell it out, people don't know it is sarcasm. And the thumbs down is their way of showing that they don't share your belief. Doesn't matter what you wrote, just that they disagree.

You could always give out a disclaimer such as the magazines use.

For example: PARODY: Not to be taken seriously...yada,yada,yada.......

Or just take it with a grain of salt because if the individual(s) do not get the humor in your statements, you don't need to associate with them anyway cause they will just drag you down with them.

We have a lot of bashers and trolls in this section, they're usually not even 15 years old, and they don't seem to comprehend sarcasm.
