Starving yourself is not the way to lose weight. Forcing your body into "starvation mode" will actually slow down your metabolism and cause you to lose weight at a slower pace. Eat health foods and watch your calorie intake and get plenty of exercise.
A healthy rate of weight loss is 1 to 2 pounds per week. You might lose more in the first week or two if you are making a drastic switch from a really bad diet plan (like soda and junk food).

Not normally... and if you do you tend to gain it back in a fury. It's your body's way of getting back on track... besides a friend of mine tooke 2 weeks starving herself and 15lbs was all she lost... then she gained 30 when she started eating again. So don't do that. You can lose weight really quick by just eating grilled chicken or baked chicken and green vegetables. That is healthy and a quick fix. Basically no carbs and no fried food and everything non fattening. I lost 12 in a week

No the most you will lose is like 5 and when you start eating again you will regain almost double of the lbs you lost.

no but i had the flu for three days and i couldnt eat cause iw as so sick i lost 5 pounds, not that im incouraging it
