If someone had to pick out the perfect person for you and you had no say in it... would it be your mom? your dad? brother or sister? best friend? Why?

I would trust the best friend. It would really be tough to trust any of these people to tell you the truth, I almost think it would be better for a stranger to do it based off of a few traits that you exhibit.

You act VERY differently around your parents and family than you do your friends...what you would want is a blend between the friend and the parents pick. However I would go with a friends' pick because my parents are literally crazy church going nut jobs. No offense to any christians out there, but their brand of religion is not for me. They would have picked the most upright religious girl, and I like to have fun without jesus sometimes. My friend's would pick a better looking girl that can have some fun. So to speak.

That is a bit hard in my situation. It wouldn't be my mom or my dad, their both twice divorced, I don't have a sis, my brother is a male whore and the only real true best friend I have is my GF that I have had for three years now.

And I don't think my GF is going to pick someone out for me other than her.

Then why did you even bother pushing the "answer this question" button AJ . Simply If my situation was different I would more than likely go with someone that knows me well and can really know what I am looking for in a BF/GF as well as know that the person they pick won't hurt me.

My best friend...she has great taste in guys and she knows me better than anyone. She has been my friend for 10 years and by now she knows what type of guys I'm interested in...plus she has great taste in guys and she is definitely not shy around them like I am

Next would be my mom....she will always be honest with me and and she usually picks out guys that are so sweet....but sometimes she picks out guys that are sweet, but are far from attractive....she wants the guy to be sweet so he will never hurt me, but whose mom wouldn't

If my dad had his way he would never allow me to date, lol. He still acts weird whenever I even say the word boyfriend.

Absolutely no one. I only trust my own judgment. I'd rather be alone.

My boyfriend and I have been together for 3.5 years and nobody (friends and family) thought we would stay together and be so happy together for so long. We are so different, but from the very beginning I knew that we were perfect for each other. My friends and family just didn't see it it the beginning. lol some of them still can't see it.

You and you alone are the best judge of who you should be with.

My best friend because he knows me more than anyone. Some intimate details I could never share with my mother - she would be the other choice. Sooo, I would trust my best friend, and he better make sure that perfect person has a big you-know-what!

I would trust my friend Dan's judgement because him and I had a thing, and because of that thing, he learned a lot about relationships and he knows me very well, so I believe he would pick the best guy for me because he knows the things I need and want in a relationship.

Best friend. Parents and siblings mean well but you would be resentful if things didn't work out. WIth a friend you might be also but the repercussions would not be as bad. Also a best friend is more impartial and further removed from your family dynamics and more likely to be logical about this.

I would pick my brother. Because my mom and dad and friends for that matter don't understand age doesn't matter. and you can find really nice guys that are older, that don't just want to get into your pants, and i trust my younger brother with that.

it would have to be my best friend, because she knows me best and loves me to. Mom loves me but she would pick someone that she thought was best for her.. Dad has my personality and humor but he would probably pic someone who is a virgin a plans on staying like that forver haha. Best friends know ur personality and know what u like and they dont pic whos best for them like familys may, they pick based on how they think u would feel, and also they usually know who the jerks are b4 u do :)

Best friend...they know more about u....ur deepest darkest secrets and what u like to do..sometimes u hide little things from ur parents and siblings out of respect or other reasons, and these little things could be a big thing in a relationship
