Heheh- wouldn't want to spoil your watching the entire 7-season run on DVD by TELLING you, now would we?
BTW, it seems "The Immortal" was just a fling- but that was a seriously funny episode of Angel.

Obviously no one here knows what they're talking about. Spike doesn't die. He zaps back into his amulet and is released on the show "Angel". Spike keeps it a secret that he's alive cause he doesn't want to put drama back into Buffy's life, it seems. We're still not sure whether Angel or Spike survive at the end of "Angel" but it's probably safe to say they did since they are supposed to be making an appearance in the new Buffy comic. Also, this whole fling with The Immortal has been revealed as a fluke in the comic. Turns out it wasn't Buffy that they saw with The Immortal at all but a Buffy double to prevent the real Buffy from being assasinated since she's globally known now and an important figure. Why am I depending on a comic book? Because it's Joss Whedon's official Eighth Season of Buffy and the first storyline has been written by the big guy himself. One of the Buffy doubles is featured in the upcoming 5th issue (also written by Joss) and then there's a multi-issue storyline featuring Faith. I think sometime after that Spike and/or Angel should appear.

ProphecyBuff has it mostly right, though I should add that there's also been a Joss-approved Angel comic that shows not only Angel and Spike as having survived, but also Illyria and Gunn. Further, in the most recent version of the Joss written Buffy comic book I've seen, Buffy is shown to be having a fantasy of playing "nurse" while sandwiched between Angel and Spike. So, the answer is arguably "both." I also thought that in the first comic of that series, we found out that the girl with the Immortal wasn't Buffy, after all, but a decoy. Finally, while sunshine girl is right that Buffy indeed tells Spike she loves him just before he sacrifices himself to save the world, she has forgotten that Spike replied, "No, you don't. But it was nice to hear." Buffy doesn't argue the point. I could also point out that she had, the night before, essentially told Angel that on those rare occasions when she lets herself think of having a future, she thinks of having it with him. As they are parting, she warns him that will be a long time coming, if ever, to which Angel responds that he can wait, as he is not getting any older.
I think the truth of the matter is that, as of the end of both TV series, Buffy hasn't ended up with either of her two vampires, and that as per the most recent comic book, she continues to have feelings for both. I'm a long-time, die-hard B/A 'shipper with a not-too-far-in-the-closet fondness for B/S, so that pretty much works for me. But she hasn't ended up with anyone because her story, currently continued in comic form, hasn't ended. And that suits me just fine.

nether, but in the last episode of buffy, spike does die for her and she does say she loves him. but then is resurected in angel that next season.
then at the end of angel well they never said that they die but it leads to it. also in the 5th season of angel andrew tells angel and them that she wants nothing to do with them cause they joined wolfmen harts.
man i miss that show

Neither. The last she's mentioned is in an episode of "Angel" (last season) - and she was with "The Immortal".
