I've been reading a lot of these Pope questions today, and I wonder if anyone can specifically tell me where

in this document they said he wrote where it states that Catholicism provides the only true path to salvation?

I see what Yahoo says, but I'd really like to read those words in the official document.

Most Christian denominations believe that each of them is the fullest version of the Church of Christ.

While the Catholic Church also believes that she is "the highest exemplar" of the mystery that is the Church of Christ, she does not claim that non-Catholic Churches are not truly Christian. The Catholic Church teaches:

Furthermore, many elements of sanctification and of truth are found outside the visible confines of the Catholic Church: the written Word of God; the life of grace; faith, hope, and charity, with the other interior gifts of the Holy Spirit, as well as visible elements.

Christ's Spirit uses these Churches and ecclesial communities as means of salvation, whose power derives from the fullness of grace and truth that Christ has entrusted to the Catholic Church.

All these blessings come from Christ and lead to him.

Vatican city is an self sustaining state on condition that 1929.  the easily usa call is The Holy See (State of the Vatican city).  the govt of state is the Pope.  i think the non-inclusion to the UN is using the church/state spearation theory which isn't a separate merchandise interior Vatican city because of the fact the Church officers run the city.  for this reason the UN can't be seen as favoring one denomination over any others interior the international. i don't get the question you're making relating to the church heirarchy being ambassadors to the international locations wherein they stay? the way I view it truly is they arrive from the different international locations yet artwork in Vatican city besides the undeniable fact that their abode remains the country they got here from.

I don't know which document that he is "quoting from but I know what I read in the Bible where Jesus said.

"I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:1-6

The catholic church is NOT the true path to salvation, nor is the catholic church connected in any way to the church that Jesus established.
