lets assume your wifes best girlfriend caught you having an affair with someone. She, the wifes girlfriend, always had a thing for you. Now she uses what she has on you for her benefit, you become sort of a slave to her to keep her quiet. How do you get out of a situation like this???

The first thing you need to do is stop the affair.

The second thing is to get a grip on this blackmailing chick. Tell her you are done and just want to be with your wife and your wife only. it is unlikely she will rat you out.... just tell her you cant go on this way and you feel badly for anyone's feelings that got hurt. DO NOT BE CONFRONTIVE OR NASTY....just polite and remorseful.

Third thing is decide weather or not you will tell your wife.

or you can ask your wife for a divorce..it doesnt seem through your actions that you love her... she doesnt need all the nasty details, they will only come back to bite you... and she probably doesnt need to be treated this way.

Now the threesome idea is great but I highly doubt you could pull that one off.... just be ready to cover your nuts if you ask for that

well, you aren't going to like this answer, but by giving in to her you are only compounding your problems.
you have done your wife a horrible wrong.
time to sit down with the wife and 'fess up.
tell the truth, the entire truth, including her girlfriend knowing and blackmailing you.
tell her why you did it.
answer all questions honestly.
go to marriage counselling and do whatever it takes to make things right.
then be prepared for her not to trust you for a very long time, and take it like a man.
eventually she will learn to trust you again, but you have to remember this is all your own doing.
if things were so wrong between the two of you that you had to mess around, you should have talked long before you started the affair, in fact if things were that bad you should have left.
i don't understand people who have affairs, if you aren't happy and can't or don't want to fix the marriage, then leave. don't compound the problems by cheating.
good luck, i don't know if i could forgive my husband for cheating, i hope i never have to find out.

Don't get into that situation to begin with. The fact is, you are going to have to come clean with your wife. That way the cat is out of the bag, and the so called best girlfriend of your wife has nothing on you. You are going to have to suck-up big time to your wife for what you've done. You will have to suffer the consequences of your actions. I hope all goes well for you.

You probably won't be able to get out of it. Learn from it.
You will most likely end up having to tell your wife, and seek her forgiveness.

If your wife's friend is close with your wife and wants to maintain the friendship with her, then perhaps you could use a little reverse strong-arming. Tell her you will tell your wife what she is doing if she tells her about your affair.

But the most important thing to learn from all this is that this is the risk we take when we are unfaithful. You say you are a slave to your wife's girlfriend, I say you are a slave to, and are trapped by, your own deceit.

Sorry I agree with everyone else, the only way to get out of it is to either tell your wife or use the girlfriends betrayal as your backmail.

But be careful women are very vindictive and will do almost anything to get back.

Shouldn't of cheated in the first place. Your only thing to do now is fess up and wait for your divorce. Nothing ever good comes out of these situations. You obviously were not happy to begin with, you should of worked on your problems instead of going outside the marriage.
Fess up and relieve the stress of the situation and give you wife her dignity back.

Continue to be a liar and a cheater, representing the 50% of marriages that end up in divorce.

Or

Tell her the whole story, and represent the 50% of marriages that end up in divorce.

Why do people get married, if they cant stay with it? What's the point? To have a big wedding party, then become a statistic?

Fun!

You're best bet is to "come clean" of the situation and tell your wife what you've been doing... So start packing your things you low life dog ! I feel bad for your wife, not only is her husband and lying scumbag, but so is her best friend ! Hope your wife gets everything...

grow a pair, tell your wife, re-organize your priorities to become something of a "man" if there is a shred of dignity in your blood, and then decide how you can make up for your horrible past decisions while swearing to never cheat ever again. Be a man, life isn't high school.

You tell your wife the truth about the affair, and hope that you can get through the pain and suffering of the affair. Then you tell your wife about the friend using blackmail to get you to do whatever it is she is getting you to do. She needs to know that her "friend" is really not one at all.
