So the events of 9-11- 01 Was actually caused by the dominant thoughts of those who were sent here to attack us, Their dominant thoughts were engrained by the teachings of their family, religion, and community. Not the dominant thoughts and teachings of those who were victims of that attack. Do you agree or Disagree?

The ruthless use of violence to achieve ones goals does not need a new nomenclature.

I think to say dominant thoughts implies that all people following that same religion all had hatred towards the United States and were in favor of that particular event. It is thinking like this which causes prejudice and racism. I believe there is an misinterpretation their doctrine and the USA in general. For example, every religion and doctrine has their extremeists, or people who misrepresent the context of a given document. It's people like these, who influence those who don't know enough about the topic, yet it sounds good to them. Soon enough, you have a backing of people who "agree" with them, but really have no real knowledge of the topic.

Disagree. The families, religions and communities did not have 9-11 in mind. The dominant thoughts were in the minds of a terrorist cultist extremist.

Well, there are a lot of unhappy people in NYC....
Going by what you said, and not drifting from your example, I would have to say that the people who attacked on 9/11 probably visualized theme selves flying into buildings. And like I said earlier, maybe most of the people in those building were unhappy. Or just had negative thoughts? I don't know.

Personally I like the teachings of The Secret, but I am not sure it can be applied to major events like war.

The Secret is a 2006 film produced by Prime Time Productions, consists of a series of interviews related to the idea of optimist thinking. It states that everything you want/need may be accomplished by only wishing it. Distributed through DVD, and online (through streaming media), the film and the subsequent publication of a book by the same name and of the same topic as the film, has attracted interest from media figures such as Oprah Winfrey, Ellen DeGeneres, and Larry King as well as criticism from the mainstream press.

The 09-11-01 attacks were a re-picturization of the movie "true lies".

It was very sad, tragic, dangerous and shameful.

No one with the right mind would even think that way.

God Bless us all.

I think the attacks were caused by the perception on the part of the attackers that the United States had for a very long time, interfered with their governments..

Wasn't it caused initially by Dubya's Saudi connection in the oil biz? Methinks it might even go back further than that.

No The Secret does not cover every situation that has ever happened. The purpose of it is not to explain all mysteries.
