We have starving children in Africa because we do not care enough to feed them. If we loved them as much as God does, they wouldn't be starving.

If.
That "if" says a lot and implies more.
If there is a god
If he exists, does he care?
If he cares, does he care equally?
Let's go with the evidence. If there is a god who made the world, we can infer his nature from his creation, just as we can infer from their music that Bach was intellectual and mathematical, Schubert a cheerful extravert, and so on. So what about this god?
He designed a world in which everything that lives must do so at the expense of other lives. He designed human nature to include sadism, malice, selfishness and pride. He designed a world where almost every animal comes to the end of its life in a crescendo of pain and fear - including humans, mostly.
If he loves, anything at all....
If he loves humans.....
If he loves them equally....
IF.

Why do we have starving children in America?
Don't play this game, like Africa is the only place where children starve. It's just shown more in the media. God helps those who help themselves...I know their environment isn't that great...but why, instead of sending food, we send plants so they can start growing their own food?

What does love have to do with starving? I'm not trying to be snide either. It's not that "God provides food, clothing and shelter for all humans equally" - love does not equal provisions. As fellow humans, it is our responsibility to do what we can to improve the living conditions of our cousins in less fortunate circumstances, but if anything, why would God love a suffering child less?

That there are starving children in the world is not the fault of God but of man.

I truly believe that this is only a reflection to show the world that we need to help each other and take care of one another. Its not being done so that is why there is starvation and poverty.
But, if you think about it, all those children dont suffer long, when they pass they are all alive and healthy with our Maker.

He does love every one but not everyone loves God!!
Some have idol worship and that separates them from God...look at the situation in India, there they worship cows, last time I checked cow meat made some killer carne asada. I would be eating some cow meat thanking God for what I was about to eat...what kind of god would tell a person to worship it and make you starve to death?? Not the true God, he provides we eat!!

Because us rich people, blessed by God to live in this country, are sitting on our big behinds and not doing anything about it! There's a reason you and I live where we do, with the resources we have- and it's not to use on ourselves only, it's so we can go out and actually make a difference out there!!!
