can anyone help me my son who as just left school wants an id card can i get him one on line and if so how he is 17 in sept i would be so greatfull if some one could help me with this he hasnt got a passport at moment thank you

Actually, instead of doing it online, you can (I'm assuming this is the United States, if not sorry) get a state identification card. It looks similar to a drivers license but it's just meant for people that don't have a license. My grandmother got one because she is too old to drive anyway but still needs a form of ID.

yes you can it pretty simple or apply for a citizen card i got my son an id card it costs between £5/£10 pounds

nope. for a legal state i.d. he has to go to the dmv. you can get a child safe i.d through the police stations but those are usually for small children.
