The best way to trim down your legs is to do distance running. If you lift weights, do squats, or run sprints you will build what is called fast twitch muscles. These are more bulky. If you go jogging for a longer distance you will start to build what is called slow twitch muscles which are long and lean. This will give you the toned look.

Try this: Go jogging/running 4 or more times a week for at least 30 minutes. After 20 minute your body stats to burn more fat. You can pick your own pace. Try & increase it over time, but the distance is the key. You will need to keep this up for a couple months in order to see big results. You'll have to start sometime, so even if it is not a quick as you'd like at least your starting to work on it.

You also need to make sure you are eating healthily so that you are consuming fewer calories a day than you are burning. Your appetite will increase because of the increase in exercise. Try to replace certain foods with fruits & vegetables. They have a lot less calories than other processed foods. They also give your body the nutrients it needs.

I personally have been running distance for quite some time now & have seen the results. I am going to school to become a personal trainer & would love to give you suggestions. If you have anymore questions for me, come visit my personal blog. You can leave me comments & ask me more questions. I’ll be sure to get back to you soon.

Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%. Chew each morsel at least 32 times to activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.

Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.

U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry.

im totally the same way. running is a great way to define ur thighs, even if u only do it for like, 30 minutes or something a day. also, my friend told me about this thing that if u have access to a gym or weight machine, on the bench there is a little thing for ur legs. this is kinda confusing, but if ur with me so far, great. start off by adding about 10 lbs. and go up from there, and bring (one leg at a time) ur leg from a 90 degree angle to a 180 degree angle. do 3 sets of 10 on each leg. hopoe this helps! good luck!
