Rolling it (or squeezing it before you cut it) makes a lemon easier to squeeze. If you're just squeezing it by hand that will help. But the best way with a reamer. You crush the whole insides of the lemon and end up with just the skin! You can't get more juice than that!

You then strain out the pulp. But if you're really -anal- and want to get every last bit of juice, put the pulp in several thicknesses of oilcloth and squeeze -that-.

Now you got the skin, the pulp/seeds, and the juice, all separate. Don't you feel a sense of accomplishment? 8^)

Get more juice from a lemon by any of these methods:
punch a small hole in it and mocrowave for 30 seconds,
an old fashioned juicer (the hand-held one ,usually wooden), ground around inside the lemon half. Be sure to use a small strainer to catch the seeds,
with lemon at room temperature, roll the lemon around on the counter with the palm of your hand.

1. Choose smooth-skinned lemons that are heavy for their size. Store in the refrigerator.
2. Use squeezed lemon to get rid of bad smells from your fingers after peeling garlic or cleaning fish.
3. Dissolve 1 teaspoon sour salt in 2 quarts of water in order to get acidulated water.
4. To get the most juice out of fresh lemons, bring them to room temperature and roll them under your palm against the kitchen counter before squeezing.
5. Put Lemon peels in your disposal bag as it smell nice and keeps them fresh .
6. To Squeeze the juice from a Lemon in an easy way just place it in the microwave for about 10 sec.
7. Put a lemon in hot water before squeezing it will give you more juice than usual.

Does that help?

Yes, apply some pressure to it and roll it on the cutting board. That loosens the juice up.
