Lisa l is the only one that got this one right. "Plano" means that a LENS has no prescription in it. It is like a clear plate glass window. Your question, though, was "what is the term for when an EYE needs no correction". The term that describes the EYE itself that needs a plano prescription (no prescription) is emmetropia.

**OK, OK...emmetropia means "no prescription, BUT, since the person posting the question referred to a "p" word...thought plano would be the closest thing to what she was asking for...**
