OK dont worry, rest up your leg, you will have plenty of time to work on it later. As far as the weight issue, when you show up at your Basic Tranning inprossing they will weigh you again. Once there they will put you on a weight program if you are over weight, you will lose alot of weight in basic and they expect that. If you are no more then 20lbs over they will let you go right ahead and start your tranning. They will weigh you several times over the course of your tranning if they see that you are losing weight they will not stop your tranning. Trust me you will lose alot, they will also let you see a doctor while you are there and they will help you keep those lbs off.
So in closing you should be fine, rest up, do push ups and sit ups, dont worry about your legs right now. Enjoy your family and friends and get ready for a life changing expiriance. Oh one more thing, drink lots of water, stop eating junk food and greasy food, like that it is not a shock to your system when it happens over night.

Maybe your body is trying to save you.
>I have over 15yrs served in the military
>I am decorated
>I am disabled
>I served in the middle east.
The cold truth, the active US military troops are
under a gag order about what is going on in
Iraq. If they talk, they are striped of rank and
might be imprisoned.
So I will tell you what is going on there.
They are there to secure the oil fields for the
mega US oil companies...and the locals are
pissed.
think about it before killing yourself to become
tool for the oil Corporations.

You need to let it rest. Basic is incredible tough and you can completely damage your leg if you don't let it heal properly and then you would never be allowed in the Military.
