If a parent takes out a “Plus Loan” to pay for their child’s education will the child have to pay the loan back if the parent dies?

the answer above is correct - except it actually is anywheres from 45-60 days from date of disbursement of the 2nd semesters disbursement.

No. The loan is forgiven if the parent dies. Remember that PLUS loans go into immediate repayment 60 days after disbursement...there is no grace period.

No, the loan will die with the parent.
