im all for being a virgin at least until im in college. But in highschool,,i hear about a lot of girls who lost their virginity and stuff.
Like if i got a boyfriend in college, and he wanted to do it..would it be weird if i told him it was my first time? like do guys care about a girl having enough experiance?
it would help if i got some guy opinions on this.

If he thinks its wierd and a problem - you probably don't want to date him anyways. Go at your own pace. Don't have any regrets. Experience is overrated - everyone who has experience - was inexperienced at one time or another. Get the experience you want - don't get experience just because you think you need it to please someone else.
In any case, it's not rocket science.

I was a virgin until I met my wife. I had been out of high school for about a year. My wife on the other hand had had 2 partners before me. It seems to be the norm nowadays for a girl or boy to have sex while still in high school, but that does not make it right.
What is even better then waiting until college is waiting until you find that man that you can't live without. Not just some guy that you meet and says all of the right things. Intercourse can be very beautiful if done with the right person. You don't want someone to leave you feeling like crap.
From a lot of advice I have seen on some of the relationship questions asked on here, it seems the consensus is, is that men would find it nice to know that their girlfriend was a virgin. But, I'm also getting the impression that it seems like guy after guy would jump at the opportunity to be with a virgin. Just to have been with a virgin. Be careful with what you have saved. It's yours and yours alone, don't share it with just anyone.

Unfortunately, too may people lose their virginity prematurely in high school. Is it "normal?" I think it is all too common, but I also think there a a lot of virgins in high school still.
I'm not going to preach because a lot of you will get mad, but I will say that if you are going to do it, be careful. This decision can really affect you for a long time.
As far as the experience factor, it depends from guy to guy. Some might be scared to sleep with a virgin, others may be excited about being the first.

First of all alot more girls SAY they lose their virginity then the girls who DO lose it so think about that before you run off and think you're doing what everybody else is supposedly doing
Secondly If you want to be a virgin until college = wait, nothing else to it
Third The guy in college more than likely wouldn't mind that you are a virgin because guys like virgins

all guys are different and i think that if a guy really loves you he would like it better if you were a virgin and he was the first one. i never really had an issue iwith that i never said no sex til after high school or get into peer pressure i was just going to do it when i thought it was right.wether i was 16 or 18 or 25 i lost my virginity at 17 but i dont regret it im still with the same guy for 1 yr and 8months & he said he wouldnt like it if i had been with someone olse besides him.. stick to your morals and what you think is right for you..

Satistically, it's normal. But statistics never apply to the instant case. I suggest you wait until you really want to make love, not just to "lose" something. Don't be in a hurry. It can only happen once. It should be special. You will know when. If you have doubts of any kind wait. And understand that at your age, it's illegal and your boy friend can be put in jail at any age. Recently a boy 17 was put in jail for 10 years, since reduced to two, just for having oral sex with his 15 year old friend. The idiots filmed it and circulated it. So if you love the guy, you might be doing him the favor by waiting.

You don't need a guy's opinion on this. You follow your heart and don't give yourself to anybody just because you think it's normal. Your first time should be special and with somebody you truly love and truly loves you back. That might seem old-fashioned to some people but you don't won't to ruin what is to be a special time in your life. If somebody truly cares for you, they won't care. If it does bother them, then they are not for you and just using you.
