I am putting together a presentation and there are lots of clips from movies that I would love to show...but I don't know how to edit out only the clips????

Firstly assuming you have the legal right to use the clips, and they are NOT copyright material . . . . .

You're going to need to rip to a video file, such as an MPG file, then edit that to cut it down to the right section.

I used to use "EasyVCD" or "EazyVCD" to rip DVD to Mpg to play on a laptop with No DVD player, I think it gets past the copy control but can't recall.

Failing that, you can use "Clone DVD mobile" to rip to Avi/DivX files or MP4
If you need to trim / edit files, a movie editor is required. I live "movie Edit pro" Currently I use V12 E version, which is a low-ish cost downloadable application, with free trial available from www.magix.net
