okay so i'm a 17 year old girl, 5'6, 130 pounds. i have FINALLY met my goal weight after losing over 50 pounds. i'm going to the movies tonight with a friend and i wonder if i can have a treat? and what would be the healthiest option? i exercised a LOT today (70 minutes running, 20 minutes pilates, 45 minutes weight training), and i don't plan to consume more than 1400 calories before going to the theater.
is it okay to allow myself a treat? if so, what would be my best option?

it takes 3700 calories to burn or gain one pound.... one time to indulge would be fine, its not like you are going to gain 5 pounds with one candy bar. You could either bring a treat with you (a candy bar or baked lays chips) or try to get the healthiest option at the movies. But, at the movies they do not really have any good healthy options because it is mostly fatty snacks foods, even though you could get some popcorn without any butter unless you are a popcorn fanatic you might now be pleased with that choice so if you are going to reward yourself make it something that is worth the extra calories---something you love (like chocolate...or something, also dark chocoalte is good for you because of it's antioxidents and though it might not usually be good to eat chocolate on a diet eating dark chocolate would be a good idea because it is not full of just empty calories it has a little nurtition) Just know when to stop and not over indulge....savor the treat and enjoy yourself lol then just get right back to dieting and exercising good. Great job on your weight loss!! keep it up

Go for diet soda and no butter/low salt popcorn. If you are craving candy go for something that will last you a while. Try a lollipop. They are small and should last you a while. You could also try going to the grocery store before the movie and getting some lowfat, healthier treats.

A diet soda, of course. There's no calories, but there is salt...just don't let yourself go overboard. Get a small cup size.
And, believe it or not, they're starting to get diet candies out there, so you can pick some of those up [you might have to get those somewhere's else and sneak them in :D ].
Also, popcorn, but without the butter! Or only with a little...or the diet version!

enjoying the occasional treat will not ruin your diet, everyone is entitled to a break in routine. If you are worried about movie theater snacks, just smuggle in something healthy from home.

If you get popcorn dont' get it buttered. They do have waterbottles there you can drink. Of you can just eat something healthy before you go. Maybe take a healthy snack with you. Just don't get caught sneaking in the food.
GOOD LUCK

there is no longer something wholesome to consume at a action picture theatre....possibly frozen yogourt is the only element i'm able to think of of. definite, sneak something extra in good shape in from the nutrition court docket. I continuously pop my own popcorn from abode and sneak that in the process...in spite of the actuality that action picture popcorn is mostly a handle..mmmm...all of that greasy butter.
