Yep the G.O.D.
...the Good Old Days.
Any thoughts on a correlation?
Yes I know I just wasted 5 points, thank you.
The mind is a scary place, what frightful tale has yours to tell?

Absolutely!!! It was something more formal, yet I used to talk to Him whatever the reason and because I kept forward to my own ambition and desires, when He gave me avertisements I saved none and did my way going into more and more trubles! Into an end, within a deep depresion, He saved my life (!!!) the very second I left away of all my deep desires... There, empty heart, I was filled with God's Light and Peace and Love - a complete New LIFE, a new body, a New Vision over the past and the future :) :) :) Yes, He is my Saviour!!!

IF we do not obey the Government of Deity (G.O.D.) fully here upon us in our Creator Father-Son Jesus Christ Michael,
there will be no "Good Old Days" to remember !
If you can not master your mind, you may freely ask for the perfect Mind of our Master Jesus ! Wonderful peace !
Peace and progress,
Brother Dave, a Jesusonian Truthist

Back in the good old days, we were running around afraid that we'd have another ice age. Now, we're running around afraid of global warming. I guess it doesn't make much difference, just so long as the sky is falling.

Funny... I had thought that it stood for "Great(est) Occidental Deception," although misguided nostalgia certainly plays a role. Memories become faulty with increasing years.

2 Timothy 1:6-8 (King James Version)
King James Version (KJV)
6Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.
7For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
8Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;
Ephesians 5:15-17 (King James Version)
King James Version (KJV)
15See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
16Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
17Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
Colossians 4:4-6 (King James Version)
King James Version (KJV)
4That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.
5Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.
6Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

the concept of 'day' doesnt exist. its just the earth going round the sun, and certain parts of earth catching light at certains, and at other times not. there is no yesterday, no tomorrow. years don't exist.
there are no good old days; existence is just one loooooong, old day.
