So... yes.

I've dated people of all different religions. I think that as long as you can respect each other's beliefs it isn't a problem. I could never date a Bible-thumping Fundamentalist who insisted on shoving their beliefs down my throat. But I have no problem dating Christians in general. It's all a matter of personal approach and mutual respect.

Absolutely! Christian chicks view me as a backslider who they can lead back to salvation, a noble project, etc. Jewish babes - secular ones, at least - perceive a freedom in me that they wish to attain. Catholics like the feeling of naughtiness in dating such a sinner.

Best of all, religious differences serve as the ideal rip-cord when things start becoming too serious. Ways are parted with no hard feelings, since it's "for the best." :^)

When my husband and I first started dating he was a christian and I was an athiest. I am now a christian. I have a tremendous amount of respect for others, I just have a rather cynical, ironic side to my personality and that sometimes shows in my answers.

Well I'm Pagan, and so far I've only dated Christians. It's yet to last, but I'm of the mind that if you really care about someone, it shouldn't matter what their faith is. I've found that it just doesn't come up more than once or twice.

I can only answer this question from the perspective of a Christian. Christians should not date or marry someone of a different faith. The Bible clearly says that we are not to be unequally yoked. My husband and i are both Seventh Day Adventist Christians and i cant imagiine being married to someone who didnt share the same beliefs.

Actually, you're right. I won't date a non-Christian because I believe that God should be the head in any relationship.

Please don't call me close-minded. I just don't believe I could be happy in any relationship in which God was not involved. How can two people with conflicting beliefs on such an important matter possibly be happy?

I have never dated anyone who is of my religion. It has never been a problem though because my religion belives all religions are one so I think of every one as a folower of god... And as to the second part I don't think people who don't respect one another could date one another... But if they respected one another then it would work, you just can't be pushy with your belifes and have to respect the other persons difrence in opion.

I've dated other denominations, bhuddists, jewish people, other christian denominations like anglicans, roman catholics presbyterians , an agnostic and even an atheist or two when I was younger , but I stay away from 'born again ' anythings, but especically Born Again Christians.

Their hypocrisy and literalism makes me nuts and as I said in another question I don't suffer fools well.
