There's a guy I am interested in who's 30...it appears to me that he likes me, but could I be blind? Would it be unusual for a man of 30 to take interest in a 21 yr old? How should I begin to even approach this?

my bf is 27..im almost 18..so its the same age difference..and he was def interested!
approach it just as if you're approaching a guy ur same age! shudnt be any different

Love is blind and should be. The real test is the maturity levels of the individuals, not the age difference. Are you both at the same level of maturity? If not, there will be problems. If so, you can keep growing together. Significant age differences can be abnormal but do not have to be. They happen for all sorts of reasons. They can be very beneficial or harmful… depending on the individuals. If the youngest is a very mature person, it can work. And the older person can mentor and teach the younger a lot of things… and not just about sex. Although learning how to make love is an acquired skill. Learning how to be a good partner is also an acquired skill set. But in general, the risks out weigh the benefits.

yes and no I prefer 24 cause when your 21 your parting and doing all kinds of stuff (basically still evolving) while at 24 even though your evolving still you got more going on for you.
Basically if a girl is 21 the conversation level drops way down for most but at 24 I find that most girls can hold there own in a conversation with me.
this also depends on how attractive she is and how into me she is and visa versa
o if you want to approach it it's really simple just ask him out hell give you a straight answer. Don't be shy if he 30 he is interested in you all the same

I have noticed that Men of all ages will show interest in a 21 year old girl, just not neccessarily the intrest you want. Make sure you know what his intentions are if you decide to form a relationship, not all men are pigs but there are enough out there to give us all a bad name.
Emotional and mental equivalency is more important than age equivalency in my opinion. If you two are on the same level then it can work.

Two girls that I know married guys that were 15 years older than they were. It could happen.
Granted, you might not be as mature as he would like you to be, but you are younger, and guys like that. They like the power over a younger girl. He would also be able to rock your world and show you many great times in and out of the bedroom, where a guy your age would not have the experience to do so.

my ex was 34. im 26, about to be 27. i'm now dating a chick who's 22, so that's a 12 year difference. i personally like the younger one more, since my ex didn't like to let me hit it anymore. with the younger one, i get it when we go to bed, and when we wake up. bonus!
