(Daniel 12:1) Michael will stand up, the great prince who is standing in behalf of the sons of your people.
(Daniel 10:13) Michael, one of the foremost princes, came to help me
Daniel was inspired to know that Michael was "the great prince", even "a foremost prince", but he was perhaps not inspired to know whether or not there were others of somewhat similar stature. What the Hebrew prophet wrote was not inaccurate, but something more specific would have to wait for God to reveal it.
(Daniel 12:4) Daniel, make secret the words and seal up the book, until the time of the end. Many will rove about, and the true knowledge will become abundant.
The Hebrews did not fully recognize that the Messiah would be more highly exalted even BEFORE his anointing. Note that even David assumed that the Messiah would be from among "partners" of seemingly comparable stature.
(Psalm 45:7) That is why God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of exultation more than your partners.
Regarding the other "point" in this "question"... Do the Scriptures themselves ever show Jesus rebuking Satan, even one time? Or does Jesus allow his Father to "make the reply"?
(Proverbs 27:11) Be wise, my son, and make my heart rejoice, that I may make a reply to him that is taunting me.
(Matthew 4:1-4) Jesus was led by the spirit up into the wilderness to be tempted by the Devil. ...the Tempter came and said to him: “If you are a son of God, tell these stones to become loaves of bread.” But in reply he said: “It is written [by God]...
(Matthew 4:5-7) Then the Devil took [Jesus] along... and said to him: “If you are a son of God, hurl yourself down... Jesus said to him: “Again it is written [by God]...
(Matthew 4:8-11) Again the Devil took [Jesus] along to an unusually high mountain... and he said to him: “All these things I will give you if you fall down and do an act of worship to me.” Then Jesus said to him: “Go away, Satan! For it is written [by God]...
Thanks again for the opportunity to show the bible truth that Jesus the Son is a distinct person from Jehovah the Father!
(Jude 9) But when Michael the archangel had a difference with the Devil... he did not dare to bring a judgment against him in abusive terms, but said: “May Jehovah rebuke you.”
(1 Thessalonians 4:14-16) Jesus died and rose again, so, too... the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a commanding call, with an archangel's voice

Daniel chapter 10 gives us a fascinating glimpse of the spirit realm. We see that spirit creatures - good and bad - are very much involved in world affairs. There was a spirit "prince of the royal realm of Persia",opposing the activities of God's angel. After Persia there would be a "prince of Greece",promoting the interests of that
world power.Among these spirit creatures,Michael was one of "the foremost princes".Which nation, did he guide and protect?.Clearly,it was Daniel's people, the Jews.
Jesus was the first of Jehovah God's creations. He was Jehovah's only begotten spirit son,or angel. His heavenly name is Michael which means "who is like God?",indicating that this foremost prince upholds Jehovah's sovereignty.
John 3:16 clearly states:"God loved the world so much, that he gave his only begotten son,in order that eveyone exercising faith in him, might not be destroyed but have everlasting life".
There is nothing conflicting there.Col 1:15 confirms that Jesus was "the firstborn of all creation".This makes him Jehovah's only begotten as all other things were "created through him and for him"(Col 1:16).
In Hebrew chapter 1 ,the apostle Paul draws attention to Jesus' superiority over the angels. All of the angels are God's angelic sons.It is just that Jesus is higher than the rest of them. There is nothing confliciting here either.
Heb2:5-10 plainly points out that it is not to the angels that God has subjected the inhabited earth to come, which we today are so rapidly approaching. It is to his chief Son in heaven that God has subjected that inhabited earth to come,to the Chief Agent of salvation. He has been made such because of "having suffered death, that he by God's underserved kindness might taste death for every man."He died that we might live forever.
In Jude9,Jesus recognised that there were limits to his authority. It wasnt about rebuking Satan as was the case in Matthew.Jesus was already disputing with Satan about Moses' body but instead of taking matters into his own hands,he humbly trusted Jehovah to determine what was just.
Like the Ethopian Eunuch who was reading from the scroll of Isaiah and when approached by Phillip and asked "Do you actually know what you are reading?".The Eunuch replied:"Really, how could I ever do so,unless someone guided me?"(Acts.8:30,31).Like the Ethopian Eunuch, you also need some help in obtaining an accurate understanding of the Holy Scriptures.
Nothing you raised could not be explained.

Angel is a function or job title of "messenger".
Has Jesus ever perform that roll of messenger?
Gal 4:14 ... received me as an angel of God, [even] as Christ Jesus.
Exd 3:2 And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him.
Clearly Yes. Is Jesus the Chief Messenger?
There is no reference in the scriptures that shows other then Jesus, is called the "Word of GOD".
Act 10:36 The word which [God] sent unto the children of Israel.
So Jesus is the Chief messenger or "Arch Angel" spoken in the bible. This does not mean Jesus is always in that roll however. In Is 9:6 Jesus is made heir to his father's throne and given titles of a king.

I am a Jehovah's Witness. The Bible says that Jesus also had the name Micheal, the arc angel. Which meant that he was the top angels and then Jehovah was leader of them all. Maybe you could consider asking Jehovah's Witnesses around our area the questions you have about us. The Bible has all the answers.
We don't' celebrate birthdays because in the bible there is no evidence that Christians attended Birthdays. And when they did is was birthdays for unbelievers. I'll discuss one with you. One of the king's daughters was having a birthday party. John the Baptist came to this party because the king liked him. At the birthday party, he told his daughter that she could ANYTHING she wanted and he would grant her wish. Well the girl wasn't sure what she wanted so she asked her mother. The mother didn't like John the Baptist. So the mother told her daughter to ask for the head of John the Baptist. After the king found out he had to do it since he promised his daughter ANYTHING. Since we are Christian and Christian means Christ like. We don't attend birthdays.
Also for Christmas. Christmas is suppose to be a celebration for Christ birthday. Well the Bible again doesn't have any information that Jesus was born in winter.
We do celebrate the memorial of Jesus though. We also celebrate Weddings and Anniversary party's because the Bible does tell us that Jesus attended these gatherings. Many people have misunderstandings about Jehovah's Witnesses. If you guys really want to find out the true reasons, maybe you could listen to us at the door. Or maybe ask us more questions because we want you guys to understand the true reasons behind our faith.
We go door to door because the bible tells us to do so. When Jesus was on earth he also went and preached about Jehovah's Kingdom. Many people also disagreed with him just like many of you disagree with us.
Thank you for reading this.

In 1Thessalonians there is a passage that says when Jesus comes back he will have the voice of an Arc Angel. For some reason they miss that it is comparing His voice. Not implying a transformation into someone else.
They figure he is not Gabriel or Lucifer so that leaves Michael.

You should ask only Witnesses then. Notice how the Bible only refers to Michael the Arc Angel as plural...intersting isnt it? People only read certain txt to bring to them to the conclusion that Michael is diffrent from Jesus but you have to always read the context...the other txt before and after. Example:Rev.12:7-12) sais that Michael leads the angels to war agains Satan. Rev.19:11-16)Describes Jesus guiding the army . Bible indicates Michael reffers to Son of God before arriving on earth and also the name of his return to Heavea where he resides Like glorified son of God.
Hope the text help..unlike the other comments

According to the book of Hebrews,
Who is Jesus and what is his Relationship with God?
1:1 God speaks to us,
1:2 by means of His Son (a male offspring / progeny = ‘a result of creative effort, product’
The American Heritage Dictionary (TAHD))
who He (God) appointed, (Lit. He put)
through (#1223 channel) whom He made the world (Jesus is not the source of creation but the channel, or master worker, (Prov. 8:30, My NASB cross references Prov. 8:22 with Jesus at Rev 3:14) also see Jn 1:3 (#1223 channel))
1:3 Jesus is the radiance of God’s glory. (Jesus is not the source of God’s glory, but is the visible manifestation, why? Because Jesus is)
the exact representation of God’s nature
(Representation (N-W) ‘a : an artistic likeness or image’ of God’s nature,
(2 Cor 4:4 if we believe Jesus is more than an image; we have been blinded by Satan)
Nature (TAHD) = ‘character of an individual’, Jesus is an image of God’s nature or character
Jn 8: 28, 29; 14:10;) What Jesus sees his Father do, Jesus imitates his Father.
Interesting side point Representation can also means:
(TAHD) = ‘serving as an official delegate, agent or spokesman’ (see 1:2 ‘appointed’)
Jesus serves as Jehovah’s appointed spokesman (Jn 1:1, 2);
sat down at the right hand of God (an important position but is lesser than God
(N-W) b : an indispensable person 2 b : a place of honor 3 : chiefly relied on)
The true meaning of the following verses become evident when you understand
Job 1: 6 “Now it came to be the day when the sons* of the [true] God entered to take their station before Jehovah,” *“Sons of.” Heb., beneh´; LXX, “angels.” This book was written to “Hebrews” who had this understanding.
1:4 became better than the angels (How and why did he become better? Because he is God,
NO, because he)
inherited a more excellent name than they (Vs 4 starts off showing how Jesus is better than his angelic brothers, How? Because Jesus inherits or is given a better name than the other sons of God)
1:5 which of the angels (or other sons) did (God) say “You are my Son?
(To Jesus His Firstborn (see 1:2 & 6)
BLB: blueletterbible.org - strongs= #4416
#4416, 1) the firstborn
a) of man or beast
b) of Christ, the first born of all creation
Firstborn = (N-W) first brought forth : eldest
Jesus is Jehovah’s oldest or eldest Son.
today I begotten you (NASB)
(Begotten (TAHD) = ‘to cause to exist, produced’ (Prov. 8:21, 22; see 3:1))
As to Michael:
J. N. D. Kelly, in his Early Christian Doctrines, writes about the view of Hermas regarding the Son of God:
“In a number of passages we read of an angel who is superior to the six angels forming God’s inner council, and who is regularly described as ‘most venerable’, ‘holy’, and ‘glorious’. This angel is given the name of Michael, and the conclusion is difficult to escape that Hermas saw in him the Son of God and equated him with the archangel Michael.”
“There is evidence also . . . of attempts to interpret Christ as a sort of supreme angel . . . Of a doctrine of the Trinity in the strict sense there is of course no sign.”
Did you notice 'Early Christians' believed Jesus was a supreme angel, and Michael?
the belief that Jesus was God, came 300 years after Christ.

ACCORDING to the Bible, there are millions of angelic creatures inhabiting the spirit realm. (Daniel 7:9, 10; Revelation 5:11) From beginning to end, the Scriptures make hundreds of references to the angels that remain loyal to God. Yet, only two of these spirit creatures are mentioned by name. One is the angel Gabriel, who personally delivered messages from God to three different individuals over a period of some 600 years. (Daniel 9:20-22; Luke 1:8-19, 26-28) The other angel mentioned by name in the Bible is Michael.
Michael is clearly an outstanding angel. For example, in the book of Daniel, Michael is described as fighting wicked demons in behalf of Jehovah’s people. (Daniel 10:13; 12:1) In the inspired letter of Jude, Michael confronts Satan in a dispute over Moses’ body. (Jude 9) The book of Revelation shows that Michael wars with Satan and his demons and hurls them out of heaven. (Revelation 12:7-9) No other angel is portrayed as having such great power and authority over God’s enemies. It is no wonder, then, that the Bible appropriately refers to Michael as “the archangel,” the prefix “arch” meaning “chief,” or “principal.”
Aside from Michael, no archangel is mentioned in the Bible, nor do the Scriptures use the term “archangel” in the plural. The Bible describes Michael as the archangel, implying that he alone bears that designation. Hence, it is reasonable to conclude that Jehovah God has delegated to one, and only one, of his heavenly creatures full authority over all other angels.
Aside from the Creator himself, only one faithful person is spoken of as having angels under subjection—namely, Jesus Christ. (Matthew 13:41; 16:27; 24:31) The apostle Paul made specific mention of “the Lord Jesus” and “his powerful angels.” (2Â Thessalonians 1:7) And Peter described the resurrected Jesus by saying: “He is at God’s right hand, for he went his way to heaven; and angels and authorities and powers were made subject to him.”—1Â Peter 3:22.
While there is no statement in the Bible that categorically identifies Michael the archangel as Jesus, there is one scripture that links Jesus with the office of archangel. In his letter to the Thessalonians, the apostle Paul prophesied: “The Lord himself will descend from heaven with a commanding call, with an archangel’s voice and with God’s trumpet, and those who are dead in union with Christ will rise first.” (1Â Thessalonians 4:16) In this scripture Jesus is described as having assumed his power as God’s Messianic King. Yet, he speaks with “an archangel’s voice.” Note, too, that he has the power to raise the dead.

Have no Idea why they would think something this silly but if they would read the Original King James Bible, they will read the truth of who he is. In fact, they would read the truth about a lot of things. These people are so confused that I really feel sorry for them. They are raised like this and don't even realize. It is really sad because they arte brain-washed.

The Bible says, that was another name for Jesus, read it &
understand it. God refers to Jesus as Michael the Arc Angel.
The celebration of birthdays, has to do with paganism as the decoration of the Christmas tree.
Once all these things are explained to you - you will see the light!
