Ideas, please. I'm not that good with anything TOO complicated, so if at some point the whole recipe has to be put in a blender or flambed (sp?), I won't try it.

I tried frying them. Since they are frozen, this doesn't work. All you have to do is run them under hot water for about 2 minutes and they are ready.

They are already peeled (and butterflied).

Try defrosting it in some cool water, which won't take long, then heat the shrimp at the very last minute for a very short time. I only bought pre-cooked frozen shrimp once and it was rubbery and terrible, so tell the boy to buy uncooked next time :)

Make some alfredo sauce.

-garlic (fresh or minced)
-butter (half tbsp)
-salt/other seasonings
use as much garlic & seasonings as you wish, blend all together for 20-30 seconds. Heat in microwave for 30 seconds. Pour sauce over shrimp and noodles.

i know a really good Chinese dish:
1/4 pound linguini noodles
the shrimp
1/2 pound mixed vegetables, bean sprouts, waterchestnuts...whatever makes you happy
soy/teriyaki/peanut sauce
if the shrimp is pre-cooked (if so it will be opaque and pink) then thaw it out. if it isnt cooked (will look a bland grey) then peel off the shell, slice open the back in a line and pull out the black part, put on some water, and when the water starts boiling, put in the water for about 3 min or until they become opaque and pink (its really cool cuz u cn see them cook)
ok... boil the noodles until u think they soft enough, then pull out that skillet! stir fry those veggies til they nice and tender, add in the mixed shrimp and noodles and coat with soy/teriyaki/peanut sauce and cook for about an additional minute, then take off stove and enjoy
PS: although its fine to mix soy and teriyaki sauce to your taste, it is very bad to mix either one with peanut sauce, trust me on this; you would rather be eating those veggies frozen than that nasty concoction.

fry those babies!!! we have that all the time around louisiana!!!
all you do is, take a plate of seasoned flower, then eggwash(egg and water/milk), then breadcrumbs/cornmeal in the last container.then after you do those steps fry them in some canola oil or in a fry daddy. Dont do them too long, only til there a little brown, remember shrimp dont cook long. Do that with some frenchfries or hushpuppies or something. its an awesome meal!

It will depend on the fruit or veg involved with a comparison. If perhaps you compare a farrenheit to a carrot, the carrot is the better of the two nutritional. When you compare an avocado to the carrot, then your avocado is better. The two the apple and avocado, are fruits.
