We have taken God out of our schools

We have taken God out of our Government buildings

We have taken God out of public view

We built this Country with God as our foundation

If God is gone - then what of our Nation

If people choose America as their Nation, shouldn't they adopt the ways and just know that no matter what they believe in, this concept should be respected.

I was proud to say my pledge in school!

One Nation under God!

Now that God is dead - is our Nation dead as well.

Every war we have ever fought, we assumed we had God on our side. That gave our military that extra strength to fight through hell and win in the name of America.

In God we trust

Are we still winning wars with that same moral?

Now our belief in God must be kept silent!

Where is America - perhaps it is in the same dark place where we have been forced to put God!

You have to remember, we have evolved. Nobody wants to have their children imposed a different belief than their own.

For instance, the Christian God is supposed to be the same God of the Jews and Islamic people, however, they all view God differently.

Same thing happens among Christians too. The Catholic God, is the same as the same God of the Pentecostals, Baptists, Methodists, Mormons, etc. Yet, they all view their God differently from others.

A religious soup in schools and public buildings just creates caos.

The best thing to do is:

Keep God where he belongs, in your heart, and live accordingly, respecting others who may have different beliefs than yours, or no beliefs at all.

America has really messed up! We are now experiencing the consequences of our kicking God out of our nation. Just look at the shambles our nation is in now. Look at how the young people do not even know the meaning of the word "respect". Even adults are boldly irreverent toward God. Nothing seems to be sacred any more. And we ask for God to "bless" America? Why would He????

When we read the Old Testament, two things (more, really) can be discovered. One, when Israel went away from God, they suffered. Two, if Israel acknowledged other "gods" they suffered worse.
So, the thing I would say is, when America recognizes the muslim's ramadan and all the other, respecting their religion, isn't that the same thing as bowing to a different god?
I say it is the same thing. Spiritual adultery. America is gonna get whatever penalty God sees fit.
This goes for all religions...America has about every one under the sun. And their influence on the culture is well-spread.

Not all is lost.

Some Americans can be found in a state of spiritual disarray, but it is much worse in Europe, trust me.

You Americans should stick to the defense of the freedom of religion, which is freedom of speech and freedom of assembly at the same time, while providing your fantastic nation with a moral foundation.

Not all is lost. On the contrary, I feel optimistic about the future of the Americans.

Because there is a freedom of religion in this country which IS what the founding fathers were TRYING to do in the first place. Hence by the puritans came over. Read your history.
Yes, there were only Christians back then, but the principal of allowing everyone religious freedom should be held.

If you want God in all of the places above, then you have to be ready to allow :
Allah, Yahweh, Budda, The Goddess....etc in there as well and have equal footing.

So are you ready to do that?

Get a firm grip there, young man.
I know you are a young man because our Pledge didn't have under God in it until 1954, I know that because I went to school before that.
The Vatican is built with God as its foundation.
The name of God is on our money and our motto, please note that its God, not Jesus,as some would wish, or Allah as others would wish. Just God.
Walk any downtown in Anyplace USA and you will find God all over, no one killed Him, right out there in public view, no ones getting in your way of belief, just asking you not to get into someone elses way of believing in God their way.
God was never meant to be in government, our founding fathers saw the mess that made of Europe and the fights between Protestant and Catholic, Calvinists and Lutheran and said not in our country. We aren't going to make a state religion. Honor that please, worship when you want to but don't think that your way is the way the country must go.
One of the few direct quotes attributed to Jesus advises that we rend unto Caesar that which is Ceasar's, rend unto God that which is God's

Our nation was founded under governmental laws established with religious beliefs. Everything with time evolves some for the better some for the worse. I think our country is undergoing an evolution in thinking what the outcome will be remains to be seen. I for one Have no problem with God on money, in schools, and anywhere else our founding fathers put religion. We just need to be more careful now because we have become way too politically correct.

Outstanding statement! America WAS built on Christian principles. And we are headed in the opposite direction. Here's what scares me. Sodom and Gomorrah turned away from God and they were destroyed. Ancient Rome persecuted the early church and Rome fell. World War II Axis countries ruled by persecution and they were defeated. Cold War Russia blocked the Bible's entrance into that country but the wall fell. These are just a few examples. If we continue to turn away from God, there's no reason to think God will spare us the destruction these other countries suffered. Hope it's not in my lifetime.

Go read a little history. Go learn how Thomas Jefferson and Ben Franklin were both Deists who did not like Christianity much at all, and when they said God, they meant Nature, not the Abrahamic God.

So, since we are calling for everyone to believe as our Founding Father did, when are YOU going to start???

Study some history. This country was not founded on god. It was founded on the basis of religious freedom. Is it freedom of religion when everyone is forced, in school, to pray and accept the same Deity? If you want to pray, go ahead. but don't force your beliefs on others.
