first, get the kittens to a warm spot. a box and a blanket works just fine for now. You're going to have to go to petsmart, petco, walmart or any petshop to purchase milk replacement and an animal infant feeding bottle which should be located in the same area of the store. You are going to have to feed them every two hours for about the first 3-4 weeks. (but right now all you need to worry about is getting them that milk replacement powder. Then when you are feeding them gently hold them by the scruff (the skin on the back of the neck) and while sitting, lean them back slightly and put the nipple in the kittens mouth and gently squeeze since the kitten cannot suck it out by itself (dont forget to cut an "X" shape in the top of the nipple for the milk to go through!). Feeding is first priority! Human contact is vital for the first two weeks because this will determine their comfort level with humans indefinatley. Then any other questions you have you can email me whenever you'd like! i'm always glad to help!

ps. i really do hope you will consider keeping them even if it is just until you find them homes. Shelters are packed and most likley the kittens will be uthenized :(

It sounds like they were abandoned.... so if I were you I would start feeding them immediately. Get some Pet milk, a small animal feeding bottle, a heatwarmer, a small blanket, and a box. Put the heatwarmer in the bottom of the box, and turn it on a low setting, and then set the blanket on top. The Pet milk comes with directions, so follow them when feeding the kittens. Also, a few times a day, with a moist papertowel or wash cloth, wipe the kittens front and rear. This creates a licking sensation that a mother cat would give, causing the kittens to either urinate or have a bowel movement. It is VERY important that you do that. I would also consult a vet in your area about the kittens, and whatever else you can do for them. They need a lot of sleep, so don't play with them a lot. Right now they are like a new born baby.... so not too much noise, and when they cry, check on them... they are either hungry or need to go to the bathroom... Good luck!!

Do NOT take them to a shelter. Most shelters will quickly eithanize abandoned kittens. If you can and are willing to care for them yourself, put them in a box and drive to the nearest Petco or PetSmart (It is cheaper at PetSmart, in my experience) Buy KMR milk replacement (Not just any milk for cats, it MUST be this kind) as well as a bottle. To feed the kittens let them lay on their belly and put the bottle in their mouth. It may take a while but they should catch on. If this doesn't work, you'll need to use an eyedropper at first. Instructions for mixing formula are on the back of the KMR bottle. Immediately before and after feeding the kittens you will need to stimulate them to go to the bathroom. This will continue until they are about 4 weeks old. To make them potty, take a warm and moist wash cloth or papertowel and gently massage their genitals. Urine should be clear, yellow urine indicates dehydration, and feces should be loosely formed, diarreha indicates overfeeding. Keep babies warm and dry. When you take them to PetSmart, ask the people working there about them and see what extra info they give you. You may find people willing to take some off your hands who have experience. Also, you can call a vet and they will give you extra info over the phone. Um, they probably should be wormed, but I'm not sure at what age. Our vet had us bring in our abandoned kitten at 5 weeks. Good Luck with them, it is a lot of work but fun and rewarding. Oh, until I think 2 weeks it is every 2-4 hours, until 4 weeks every 6 hours and after that until full weaning it is every 8 hours that they will need to be fed.

I had a cat that had babys once and she ran away from home so I started to feed the babys with poudered kitten milk it can be found by the cat food in walmarts it is 9.96 and you just add a little warm water and feed the kittens with a surringe But I'm sure if you do not have a walmarts in the area you could find them at any local pet store.

Did you let the mother cat go outside? Are these your kittens? If you can't take care of them or don't have the time to bottle feed them every 2 hours then you should take them to a shelter and most adults have jobs so it would be best to let them get the care they need at a humane society or other rescue shelter in your area.

Leave them and call a shelter and ask them what to do.
Maybe the mother cat is finding food for the kittens.

Call a vet or a shelter. They usually know people who are knowledgeable in taking care of newborn kittens. They will know what to do.

you can talk to a vet and at the pet stores they have formula and little bottles but with kittens that little you will probably need an eye dropper they have to eat every two hours just like a baby and you also have to rub their behinds with a wet warm washcloth because they wont go by themselves its alot of work but its worth it to keep those little guys alive but definitely call a vet see what they say

Go to Walmart and buy the kitten formula in a can and get a tiny bottle and hand feed them....You wll also have to take a wet rag and wipe their privates to get them to potty. Feed them often since they are so young.

if you want to keep them...buy kitty bottles and kitten milk. They'll be fine as long as you make sure they're drinking every 3 hours or so. Try to keep them inside and in a warm and safe place.
If you don't want to keep them take them to a shelter.
=)
