do cheap hdmi cables give a good picture?

some hdmi are crazy prices like €55 and others are cheap. i have seen a hdmi cable on ebay for $1 (buy it now) would that cable be worth getting? i dont want to pay €50 for a cable, but if it makes a big difference i will

that symbol stands for euro and that hdmi cable on ebay has gold ends and is only $1 i might just get it and see what its like

if the run between the source (DVD player etc) and your tv set is less than 1.5 metres then there is no real difference in quality between the cheapest and most expensive cables-don't get me wrong there IS a difference but you would have to be extremely critical of your picture quality to notice it. on longer runs it is always best to buy the dearer cables for their low-loss capabilities.

There is a difference. Not major. I don't know what those symbols mean, but in US dollars, really good ones are like over $100. They have awesome picture. I have a gold series monster cable.

A cheap HDMI cable came with a cheap DVD upconverter I got and the picture is pretty identical on each cable with the same cable box. This is on a sharp aquos 42 inch LCD too, so I would notice the difference. I have a decent eye for these things.

In short, if you dont have a really really good TV and aren't sitting really close, you will hardly notice the difference. Just don't get one which is REALLY cheap. My cheap one doesn't even have gold ends, but would probably be 10-15 $

Cualquier tipo de cable hdmi que necesito los compro siempre de sitios web, mi último cable comprado ha sido para conectar mi PlayStation al televisor, el cable es perfecto porque es suficientemente largo, es especial para HD y el PlayStation va perfectamente, muy contenta con la compra.
