I get on Yahoo answers and do some answering...it makes me feel better to help other people out, and it makes me forget what I was stressing about...well, at least it makes the stress less important for the time being...

I also do a lot of jounaling...but I don't go back and reread the stuff until WAY after the crap is not as big in my life...

My journaling - I get everything off my chest - yelling, screaming, crying, threatening, ...I get it ALL off and into the pages...(just keep them in a safe place or destroy them afterwards...)

Go for a walk - or a run - or to the gym and just go nuts! That way, you melt the tension and the pounds!

Oh - and I do busy work...like cleaning...something always needs cleaning, moved around, scrubbed - boy, you can get some stress off on scrubbing the bathtub! You can cry and yell while you do it too! Your cat might think you have gone nuts though....

I feel much better afterwards....

You need to let the person know no matter how hard can be, the person is the source of that stress then the person is the key, but if you do not wish to deal with the person, find other mean such as e.mail, a letter, leaving message on phone. If you are stress, try to do some traveling far from where you are, but light relaxing travel and far from what is stressing you.

It sounds crazy, but talk to yourself. Just like you're narrating your own life like it's a movie or something. Go into your room and talk about what's going on. Sometimes just hearing the words out loud give you perspective. If you just feel too weird about talking to yourself, or if you have no privacy, get a journal and do the same thing by writing down your feelings. Don't worry about the prose being lovely- just get your emotions out there on paper. Then read it back. This is an important step that lots of people forget. Just writing it isn't enough- you have to read it back to yourself simply so you can see your emotions in print and identify with them. Good luck!

I write alot. I have no one I can talk to that will understand anything, even if I try I get made fun of or some something.

So, I write. I have written two short story books, many poems, and little rants here and there. Just whatever's on my mind...

And GOOD does come from it, a company is interested in one of my books....(cross your fingers)

This is gonna sound really stupid but I got to AA meetings. In the past I used to use alcohol when I felt like that but being in the meetings and knowing that Im not the only one helps tremendously. It was my therapist who told me to go and that might be an option for you to check out a therapist. Reaching out to the right people will help.

Keeping busy. The worst you can do is sit around constantly thinking about whats got you down. It'll only get worse. It is good to talk to someone. even a stranger. Because all you need is someone to listen.

If you can't do that. just keep yourself busy. Do things you like to do. Pamper yourself. Do something that doesn't give you mind enough time to think about it. GOOD LUCK

I keep a journal. Write down all the "noise" in your head and see if that make you feel better.
