There have been a couple of posts on YA claiming that the BNP represents white British Christians. Is this really so, or does the statement by the council of churches in 2005 still stand (in which they encouraged Christians not to vote for the BNP)?
By the way, I'm an atheist, British and non BNP voter. I will not report as long as you don't call names.

The Bible speaks of love for each other (regardless of skin, ethnicity, race, religion etc.), the BNP preaches hate.
It has nothing to do with race and whether you are white and British, the BNP are just hate-filled, bitter pathetic little parasites.
I am a white, Brit, Christian and I pity the BNP. They are loathesome individuals who will get what's coming to them eventually, I don't need to worry about that.
I've never met a Christian who supported or even respected the BNP.

Its a very one sided relationship, the BNP are basically against what they think of as external influences.(Often forgetting Christianity didn't start here).
They honestly think they represent white British Christians, but the vast majority of White British Christians would disagree.
I could say I represent you, or God or Islam or Buddha. It doesn't make it true.
Edit for people that don't know about the BNP:
They are the British Nationalist Party, they believe external influence and immigration are a bad thing, they are opposed to joining the EU and basically couldn't be happier they live on an Island.
Many of the main spokesmen allegedly have connections to Racist groups give the impression they are all very xenophobic.

I'm not a Christian but I am sterotypical white British.
I don't think so. I'm sure some members of the BNP would call themselves Christians, but not the majority. To say all Christians are racist morons is as ridiculous as to say all muslims are terrorists.

Oh no! There is nothing Christian in BNP, they seem rather nasty to me. I'm pretty scared of them to be honest, I hate to think of what they would do with the hundreds and thousands they don't like.

I think they need Jesus. Are they like a political version of the national front (does the national front still exist)?
