Due to your apparent lack of forgiveness, it sounds about right that you were excluded. By the way, I see the unforgiveness in the language you use to define your ex-wife. I'm sorry she cheated on you. Secondly, there are many different denominations out there. If you really feel a calling into the ministry, look around for a church that will ordain divorced people. Now, unless you feel a real calling, please don't even try. There are enough preachers out there who are more interested in the size of a church and the perceived monies they will get than in shepherding a flock. My uncle pastors a small church that is a one hour commute from his house, for the whopping sum of 100.00 per month. It doesn't even cover his gas. However, he feels that he is in God's will and God continues to care for his needs. God bless you in your search.

I'm terribly sorry that had happened to you. But does go to show that there are way too many rules in religion. The choice that your ex-wife made does not reflect on you at all. If you are wanting to be a Minister, there are many things you could do to help religion. I'd suggest finding a 'religion' that will accept you for you. One that actually makes sense, not where you're trying to fit into it. It reminds me of highschool where we all were trying to fit into the cool popular group. Have to wear all the right brand clothes, parent have to make such and such money. You have to live on this side of town...etc.
Life doesn't have to be that way, why do we continue to live in such a world.

There are Christian Churches that accept divorced ministers. I think you're putting us on. On the very remote chance that you're telling the truth I would come to grips with what your wife did and stop calling her names. Or the congregation may burn your lab.

In my experience, if you keep a woman sexually satisfied, she tends to not cheat on you....
